One of the award winners who did makeup for Mad Max Fury Road was named Elka! What a fresh and beautiful name, anyone else see some names at The Oscars tonight that struck their fancy?
I noticed we have very similar naming styles. I love your daughters names. My daughters have two middle names as well, the first being long and fancy and the second being one syllable. Also I can see...
I definitely think sisters named Savanna and Georgia is over the top. The association is glaring and inevitable. From your list, Aria and Gia go best with Ella and Savanna.

Laurel Anne has a nice ring to it. I also like Annalisa. I prefer Laurel to Thora.

So excited for you that you long awaited baby is here! He must be so cherished! Congrats!
I havent been on the site forever but I remember you a lot from when I was very active on the site in 2011/2012. Looks like both our babies are similar in age, we just had our 2nd onNov 17th....
I'm late posting this but on Nov 17th our second daughter was born quickly and perfectly at home. Vera Cordelia Pearl was born 8lbs 3oz and is the sister of Maria Julietta Grace.
Thank you daisyliv! Fiona Lavinia Joy is beautiful!

I agree with aym that Lark Eva is too blunt together, sounds very choppy. But Eva Lark sounds much better.
My daughter is only 2 mos old and I'm already brainstorming the next girl's name. I have a small handful of first names and middles but what do you think pairs nicely with Maria but also flows well?...
Our first child, Maria Julietta Grace was born Dec 3rd at home. She will be very tall, we think, and is growing like a weed. Been waiting a long time for her. I'm glad to finally be able to add to...

If I heard "lie-lah" I would imagine it was spelled Lila.

A friend posted this on facebook and I had to share it with ya'll, a great visual of the #1 girls name by state as it progresses through time from 1963 til now. I've already watched it a couple...

I really can't decide on Evangeline Ruth/Ruth Evangeline, they both sound equally good. Anna Genevieve has a better flow as well as Rosamund Elise.
Francesca and Vivienne are a perfect fit, they both have a European flair and elegance, the other names on the list just don't have IMO. I also love the option of nn Frankie, so cute.
The spelling Zoe Annabelle looks more classy to me. the "y" in Zoey makes it feel too trendy and feel more nick-namey.
Thanks for the feedback so far Berries!
I know a couple PPs mentioned using the names as firsts instead of middles, but Maria is non-negotiable since its the name of my late grandmother who was...
Juliette. It just looks less harsh and more dainty.
Adaline is very stylish, not to old in the least, it's charming.
So if we have a girl (we are finding out at birth), she will be either:
Maria Evelina Grace
Maria Julietta Grace
I like Evelina and DH prefers Julietta. There are a couple reasons why this...

All this seems to suggest is an English-speakers view on masculine and feminine sounds based on cultural preference not biology. I don't see how they can make any sort of claim, "how biological...
