I'm trying to name my four main characters, and I'm having quite a bit of trouble. What do these names bring to mind? Who should be the central character? Include nicknames, if you please.
I was thinking of using Everly, but it's a bit close to Beverly.

I don't think Rose flows well with a Z last name, as the sounds would be too repetitive.

I don't think it's pretentious; I think it's the perfect way to express a major part of your childhood, and possibly include a lovely name that you think it perfect for your child.

I feel that you should be okay, seeing as you speak the language and can properly pronounce the names. There might be trouble, though, when it comes to an American correctly pronouncing the name.

I also need a middle name as well as a surname.
All three pronunciations are correct.
I love Helene, but I'd never use it. Too many e's in too little space. Helena is gorgeous.

I love Anastasia, Annabeth, Annaliese, and Miranda.
I've used Anaselia in one of my stories. I've also used Nelian, Arandia, and Elliana.
This character is, to say the least, a caricature of myself, so I'd like to find a name that fit's my personality but her image-- I have bushy brown-blonde hair whereas she has wavy brown-blonde...
