Yeah, I wasn't in love with Ainsley either, but, your right, it "fits". I preferred the Annesley (ann sound vs. ain't sound) but hubs insists either pronunciations is a boys name.

I go with the most common spelling...which sometimes is the trendy spelling, as I've discovered. Simply to save myself and my kid a lifetime of correcting people.

I understand. I intensely questioned myself on my children's names, (Auburn and Aspen) but as they are growing up, they are growing into their names and they are perfect for them.
While I love the name Wren, it sounds better as a middle name to your other choices. Iris Wren and Calla Wren are gorgeous!
