I like it, and while some will make the 'demonic' connection it is also a saints name which to me kind of balances out. Not really a fan of the nicknames though.

I don't see it at all, especially with Caspar, though I have to say we have always used very human names for are pets (e.g. Hamish and Katie) which always confuses people, so maybe my opinions...
