Without the accents it would be May-lee (I think). But I think traditional pronunciation (Maélie) is like Mah-Ay-Lee

Why not? I love Walter. Yes, it does have a more old sound to it, but I think it is adorable on any age. It is mature and sophisticated.

Daphne. It is my mom's name and I like it in theory. I like the myth and the flower association. I like names that end in the long E sound. But IDK when I say it out loud, it doesn't sound...
I like Violet best.
My prissy little spaniels are named Charlotte and Eli.
Emmeline (but I like both)
Katherine (nn Kate)

I love love love girls names, and have a bunch of solid favorites for boys that rarely change. I just find girls names easier to love.

Eamon:: I love Eamon, I think it is really cool.
Oren:: Like the nn Oz, but nor so much Oren. Have you considered Orion?
Torin:: I like Torin for a boy, but people have told me it is feminine...
I love love love Callum (it is a GP in my siggy) but I also really like Calvin, it has a quirky, fresh sound to it. I love Charles too, but I don't think Cal is an intuitive nn. Have you considered...
I've been kind of crushing on Susannah lately. My question is: is Susannah dated or cool/hip/fresh? I really dislike Susan, so I'm trying to figure out if Susannah belongs with the...
I was going to say Mar-lehn-uh, but I definitely prefer the pronunciation mar-LAY-nuh that the other berries suggested. I'm not really a fan, I prefer other -lena names and other Mar- names.
Personally I prefer Tessa on its own, but as full names go Theresa isn't bad. I like Theresa, but it feels a bit dated to me. I guess it would be refreshing to meet a young Theresa, as all the ones...

I'm not having kids or anything, but I avoid talking about names with people because everyone's opinions are so different and people can be rude about it. My cousin told me that Amelie sounds like...
I initially said Uh-Lay-nuh, but then I thought Uh-Leen-uh. I think you could get lots of different pronunciations for this one.
I love Fay Rosemarie, I think it is super sweet, but I prefer Fay spelled Faye.

Another vote for Zoe. I think it is beautiful (as it is my favorite name, I have some bias) and it fits great with your sibset.

I too vote for Elias with Gabriel. Congratulations!
I like Beau best with your sibset, but I think Bastian works too.
I love Isabeau. I think it is super cool among all the Isabel/Isabellas. The -beau part (beau being masculine) doesn't bother me at all. People use masculine names for girls all the time (as much...
Since Helena and Magdalena/Magdalen are pronounced differently I think it is totally fine. I think it is kind of cool that they look alike. I love both Magdalena and Magdalen (but I prefer...
I like Alice Dorothea (that was my favorite combo for a while) and Alice Coralie the best.
I named a character Galen (so of course I like it), I pronounce it Gay-len. I personally wouldn't use it IRL because of the possibility of the nn Gay.

None (but I guess Brynn is alright)
Georgia (but I really love Gwen too)

It is hard to choose because a lot of my favorite names rhyme (Zoe, Persephone, Ariadne...). Right now I'm really liking Zoe and Thalia as twins. I'd use the combos Zoe Helena and Thalia Felicity. ...
Magdalena is one of my favorite names. I think it is classy and so underused. My favorite nns are Maggie and Lena. Matilda is a name I have never liked, as my brother repeatedly watched the movie...
