I would do:
What kind of names do you like? Trendy, unique, classic, whimsical?
I personally would choose something like:
I think Bloom works just fine, and it matches nicely with Isla.

Love the name Luther btw. My son's name is Luther. We used Wolf as a middle name.
Luther is such a good, solid, underused classic name that you can pair it up with something a little more...

Nora is a personal favorite of mine, so it got my vote. Both are nice though. I would wait for baby to be born and choose the name that feels right.
Poll: Both nice.
They are both lovely, but I prefer Lily. I like the imagery behind the name. Ella feels a little overdone for me because of it's similarities to other popular names like Bella.

Yey, 10 weeks in for me. Not showing yet, which is good because I just started a new job on Thursday. Had a viability ultrasound last week, but won't get the results until June because my OB is...
I think Silas is going to hit top 50 to top 20 for sure. It seems to be popping up in a lot of tv shows and movies lately. So many people are looking for underused biblical names, and this one is a...
Kala_way hit the nail on the head. I especially like the bit about gold/silver fashion trends. It is soooo true.
I was telling my dad some of the names we had in mind for our next, and I don't...

Meaning trumps flow in my book. I wouldn't let it affect which first name you use. If you really love one name in particular, you should use it, even if it doesn't flow well with Ellen. :)
I love Bethany, but I love love love the nickname Beth. Betty isn't my cup of tea. It seems a shame to have a name with Beth in it and to not use Beth as a nickname. Since you prefer Betty over...
I like Shea and I like Sheldon. Shaedon seems like a terrible smoosh.

Autumn or Summer? Autumn! It is a favorite of mine. I love the imagery it brings up and the emotions it stirs. It seems fresh and crisp, colorful and romantic.
Holly or Molly? Holly! Tough...

Makenna doesn't seem as legit or traditional as McKenna. I prefer McKenna.
Yey! Positive feedback. I was worried everybody would say that its pretentious.
I agree with kala_way about the nicknames; I am not a huge fan of any of them. That isn't an overly big deal to...
Currently have Athena as a middle name option. Hubby mentioned it as a first name contender, which made my day! What are your thoughts on Athena as a first name?
I don't care if it is a "big"...
I am Canadian and live in a rural/working class area, so my opinion might not really count. But I love Winter. I have recently suggested it to my hubby actually and he is mulling it over. Anyway,...

I don't have any advice for you East93, but I thought it was so interesting to hear your concerns. They pretty much echo my own. My mom is an abusive alcoholic, and so was her mother. I don't have...
Madelyn would be pronounced the way you like. Madeleine is supposed to be pronounced ma-dah-LEN, or mad-LEN when speaking fast.
Yes! This too! Love The Notebook!
I love Allie! If we have a little girl and name her Alaina, Allie/Alley Cat will be her nickname. I have only ever met one Allie and it seems fresh and sweet to me. Timeless for sure.
