...*cringe* Sorry, but no.
Too matchy for sisters, I think. Imagine calling one of their names in the house or outside...from a distance they might not be sure which one of them was called. But I LOVE Sylvie Beatrice. :)
I voted for Marin (such a pretty name!) and Pheobe (so cute)!
Thanks, ash! I live in America too, but in New England, where Boston accents are common (R's are heavily dropped with a strong Boston accent!). Alette is pretty but seems too choppy with our last...
First impressions? Thoughts? Does your mind automatically go "and a number" after you hear it? My hubby's mind does. :P He and I both really like the name but I have to convince him people won't...

I think Audrey is classy and beautiful! Love it!
Vesper Loren may not be my style, but I think it's gorgeous! Reminds me of Esther or Hester more than Vespa.
I love long, old or ancient names with a history behind them, like Hermione, Ebenezer, Cornelius... I just use them for middle names instead, pairing them with a more classic first name for some...
My name is Bethany and I love my name, so I'm biased toward that option... ;)
I've never heard of Betony before and I think people might have a hard time pronouncing it. Beh-TOE-nee, BET-oh-nee,...
I'm glad to hear the nickname Elle is just as (if not more) likely than Ellie. I love Elle. :) Oooooh, yay, I hope my husband is still interested in Ellen! We know the baby is a girl now, so we...
Can you visualize it on a little girl or does it scream "older woman" to you?
And would everyone want to call her Ellie? I really don't like that nickname.
We have our ultrasound Monday and...

Wow, more great suggestions! I like Violet, Eve, and Leona (although unfortunately Leona was the name of an unpleasant side character in a novel I wrote once...I'm not sure I can get past that...

I agree, Jane Hermione is gorgeous! Jane is a favorite of mine. It's too bad it's alliterative with our last name!

Wow, thank you for all these fabulous suggestions, everyone! As far as C names go, we really can't do another C since we don't intend to name ALL our kids with C names and we don't want to set up a...

We are expecting our third baby in February 2014. If it's a boy we'll call him Walter, a name we are head over heels in love with, but my husband and I can't find any girl names...
My husband and I found out last week that Charles and Cora are going to have a baby sibling! No more C names this time. ;) We will find out the gender, but that's a few months away...

I love the suggestions of Ariel, Eleanor/Elinor, Elora, Eliza, and Brielle (couldn't use that last one, though...her uncle Brian would always joke that we named her after him! Ha!).

I also really like the middle name Hermione. I'd probably use it, especially if I could get my husband to agree to Elspeth. ;) Elspeth Hermione...

I'm not pregnant (currently...) - just planning ahead! :D
I really like the short, sweet "Elle" as a nickname, but I'd want a longer name to draw it from.
I'm not into common names for girls,...
Lavendyr, my name is Bethany and my younger sister's middle name is Elizabeth and we never even think about the similarity. (I never go by Beth, though, so maybe that makes a difference?)
Awww, thank you! That's my name. :D I think it fits me perfectly, too. I say it's a great name to get Beth from! It gets my vote. :D
Both are lovely! :)
Girl names that seem especially frilly or fancy sometimes give off a snotty vibe to me. For example:
Hi, rosieposie! Thanks for your list of ideas. We had actually already picked a new name - Corinna, which was on your list! :)
I loved finding out the sex of our first baby myself - I was...
Thank you, all!
It's amazing the transformation this name change has done for my husband's excitement about the baby. Before, he might occasionally put his hand on my stomach to feel her move...
