I wanted to ask everyone's opinion on this. I hope I am explaining the thought correctly.
Do you think there is a difference between names that are currently considered unisex (Morgan, Ashley,...

Ick. I didn't expect while reading through this that this would become a tea party tirade. That was a bit jolting to endure.
Anyway, I am not opposed to naming laws, especially in countries like...

you like nettle!! ::)

I agree with you all. I also agree that it being a "celebrity first" name kind of takes away from its possible appeal. I do think Ms. Paltrow does get a lot of undue flack for using it though. The...
Holly - I am not a fan. It seems 1980's trendy and has not real meat. Feels like the Jaelynns and the like of today.
Sadie - I like Sadie, however it is very trendy now and will feel old and stale...

Note: I am not considering Apple for future use. This post is stictly hypothetical. Sorry, thought I had to say that since I do like some weird ones.
That being said, I do have to question the...

My list is all hubby approved! :) I seriously think he is more of name nerd than me sometimes.
My doctor isn't going to worry about my AF (his words, not mine) until it has been a year PBF. He said that BFing can really mess with your hormones, so he doesn't think it is an issue. I don't even...

She was pregnant?
Anyway, I am in the minority, but I like Bodhi....just not with Ransom.
I just saw this thread and am so happy to have found it. We have been TTC for 7 months. We have 2 children, but want one more to "complete" our family (not sure if that is the best way to put it). My...

I like Jette Rosalie. It is very interesting and has a kickass but sweet vibe. From your boys, Bodhi is my favorite, but Wilder and Blaise are also amazing.

So many good ones.
Alternates: (because I couldn't leave them out)

As many have said: Cormac! This is a lovely, handsome name.
As a side note, I am glad that you are trying to come up with a full name for him instead of just going with Mac/Mack. I have two...
I agree with the PPs. Augustin is a long time love for me and it feels like it could suit any age.

I am the oldest in a large, blended family. I have 3 step sisters (though my dad is no longer with their mom), 1 brother, 2 half brothers, and one half sister. My max is 4, but I will probably stop...

2 kiddos for me:
Juniper Teagan (girl)
Pyrus Nikolai (boy)

I also agree with the PP about Whimsy. I love it, but it almost too "fairy" even for me and ranks in the same area of my GPs as Buttercup (which I secretly love too).

Hmmm from the names on your signature, I think Gideon, Viggo, and Sebastian (or maybe just Bastian?) would all work. Other possibilities:
Finnian followed closely by Flynn

Hmmmm. Most of the names listed I would use...like Oberon and Thisbe. However my one "not brave enough" name is Pansy. I love love love this name and the flower. The sound is just perfection to me...
I think it's pretty understood that I love nature names, however I love several non-nature names as well. I decided to actually make a list of them. Most of these I would consider in a middle spot....
Oooohhh the images I get from Lark Isabelline are divine.
Also to a pp, I love Belphoebe and pretty much all names from The Faerie Queen, I just wish I could get more history on them.
Eeeewwww on the possible origins on the color.
Ok, so the reason I asked was because these are the top 2 MN choices for Catkin. I've been set on Guinevere for awhile, however I saw this on a list...
Which name appeals to you more and why?
I'm not sure the medicinal uses of the senna plant really have much baring for me. Roses (rose hips in particular) and lillies have known laxative effects and they are probably the most popular...
