It is a fine name, but to me overused and boring.
I prefer Catherine. I would call her Kitty.
To me there are just more exciting names out there, but it is still a fine name.

Minna. Probably wrong, but that's how I picture it being said.
Cornelia, Coral, Corinne.
I would only avoid Gwenaelle and Arianwyn b.c. they sound made up, would always be misspelled and mispronounced, and look misspelled anyway.
Ophelia to me is like naming your son Orestes or Judas...

Teddy is a cute NN but I personally wouldn't choose it solo. But then again I have odd name taste anyway!
