Starting to fall in love with all the very classic names at this point and am now considering Jonathan for the list. My grandpa is John so in a sense it could honour him. I really...

I applaud you for your research and for insighting the wisdom of the wise women who tend to frequent this board. I think that if now or in the future you decide children aren't for you, then I think...
Overheard this lovely German family, the mother was calling to Helene nicknamed "Leni," who was playing with a wind-up toy in Dymocks yesterday!

I don't pronounce Cora Lee and Coralie the same way at all. Maybe that's just me? Cora Lee is CORE-UH LEE and Coralie means coral so to me it's CORE-RAL-LEE. Perhaps I am putting the emphasis in the...

Looking for some names particularly female names that work well with Anneliese in a sibset. I love Elisabeth, but I am worried it's probably still too similiar? Otherwise I have...
Curious what you think of Liana, I like the overall sound and that it feels unexpected, yet not particularly trendy. I've never met a Liana as such, but I did go to school with a...

Mary has a few different meanings not just bitter. It also is known to mean "star of the sea," "living fragrance" and possibly even from the same roots as Miriam meaning "wished for...

I feel kind of qualified to comment on this because I live in Adelaide and have family who live in Victoria. I like both names and wouldn't let the place names deter me at all. People will...
I'm not usually a fan of Persephone, but with Elizabeth it's very pretty! And it also doesn't sound too e heavy.

Okay... so if I went with Ella as a full name is Ella Laura to tongue-tying? I actually like the way it runs...
Oh fiddle-dee-dee! I love Alessandra and Alexandra too. The only thing that I find bothersome about Alessandra is the spelling looks kind of odd to me and for me, I'd worried it may be to culturally...
I know it's super popular right now; but just looking for some more full name options for Ella, I have always loved her, and it's a likely choice if I ever have a daughter. Elisabeth, Elsa, and Leisa...

I just wanted to share this, because I'm noticing tons of people confusing Kira as a simple spelling variation of Ciara/Keira and as a lover of the name, I felt like setting the record straight. Only...
I can't get on board with Roxy. I grew up on the Aussie coast where we walk around in bathing suits the entire summer and get sun-baked skin. Roxy being a brand of women's clothing just conjures up...
So Berries, I have come to realise that I find the name Katherine polarizing, I love her history and have loved numerous people/characters by the name, but then another part of me says "It starts...
The opposition to nicknames here is so silly...Some people do like and want nicknames for their children, if they use nickname-y names as legal names, berries tend to get picky as well. Can't win!
