We've pretty much narrowed down our list to these two. Middle name will be Robert. I prefer Maxwell, my husband Archer.
Hugo? Harrison with the nickname Harry or Harris
I liked the name more after reading your explanation. At first glance I wasn't a huge fan - I like the nickname Louis/Louie. I think I still prefer the name Louis - and than using Louie as a nickname...

My first son's name is Finnegan - we call him Finn and Finnegan. Middle Name is my husbands first name. Thanks again for taking the time to respond. Lots of great suggestions. I might do another post...
Thanks for the suggestions! Ari - is a cute nickname, hadn't thought of that one. I like Arch - much better than Archie.
Jasper is super cute, unfortunately the first syllable in our last name is...
I'm having a very difficult time landing on a name for my second son. With my first son I picked a name immediately with no regrets - but this time around is proving much more difficult. Originally...

I tend to favor the name you called usual/common vs. unique. Yes, they would be the only Bravery in the in the class, but not sure that's a good thing. I wouldn't consider Hazel common, so it that...

I like your style. Of the names you mentioned I think the following would sound nice:
Aubrey Vera or Aubrey Lynn
What about Vera as a first name? Vera...

What about Parker Matthew, nickname Park? I think it would sound less like a last name and more like a complete first name while still giving you the option of the name you like. Otherwise I like...
I would pronounce it Vee-ola. Like the instuement. I like Violet Katz. Because your last name is spelled Katz, Violet doesn't bother me. I can see your concern, but like some others have said I think...

Caroline-with nickname Carly is my fave choice.
Then Margaret "Maggie"
Calliope I wouldn't know how to prounounce and Abigail is just a tad too popular.

If you are worried about dated, I would go with Logan, since it's trendier and more popular. I feel like I know more Eric/Erik's that are older rather than babies.
I agreeance with the other commenters. I prefer Sebastian and feel that it is the more sophisticated choice especially if you are living in London. I also feel London seems more feminine than...

I think it's a good way to honor both fathers. I would go for the name if you love it.
The first name I thought of when I saw Sol, nn Solly was Sally, a nickname for the Hebrew name Sarah. I could Sally as a nickname or on it's own.
