My sister had a beautiful baby boy this morning. He was born at the crack of dawn - she had a view of the sunrise while in labour / for the first breastfeed.
He is yet to be named, they are...
What lovely combinations @luneth
You have so many beautiful names I understand why you are having a hard time choosing!
Iris ('cause it's my daughters name)
Winifred (but I'd nn her Winnie or Freddie, although Freya...
Those are the favourites! She prefers Estelle, he prefers Adeline.
Beautiful. Would you use a nn for Daphne?
Felicity May is very pretty.
Ophelia is lovely and soft. Obelia is an old fave from childhood though, after the underwater character in May Gibbs books.
Adelia is very pretty @marisarath. Good point on all the Addies! The popularity of the 'Ad' names has been discussed and is definitely being taken into consideration - we're in Australia, were I...
Noah Fleur is gorgeous. Personally prefer the spelling Noa, but that is simply because I know one. It's a gorgeous name for a girl or boy.
Oh and feel free to suggest other names that you think might suit.
I posted in the boys names forums on behalf of my sister and we received such useful feedback, that we've decided to ask you berries for thoughts and opinions on her girls names.
Which would you...

@esita - Lol, to Ernest reminding you of Oscar Wilde! That's not necessarily a bad thing though(?)
I think you're right whichever she chooses, she won't go wrong.
Thanks for the great...

@boyandgirl - Ottilie is offbeat, it is tricky to find something that matches. I'm surprised that you think Rye goes well, although I suppose maybe in terms of popularity they may be similar.

@hanbow, thank you for such wonderful feedback. Arthur is definitely a frontunner so it is nice to see such a positive write-up. My sister was concerned that with her surname it'd be a bit boring, so...

Love the name Sunday.
You have a nice solid list for boys there, and I definitely don't dislike any of them.
Rafferty. To me Rafferty is fun and playful, but then has the rather dashing nn's...

I love Fern @mauvebird.
If I was to change my name today, I'd choose Eve. Simple, single-syllable, classic.
My partner and his family are South American, and when naming the babies, we tried to choose names easily recognisable in both English and Spanish. I quizzed his Abuela for all the family names she...

Beautiful. Seriously, what a wonderful combination.

I love all these suggestions.
Two favourites of mine, that were on the list for middles for my third were -
I look forward to seeing what you choose.

I love Hazel.

My initial reponse was Astrid, it seems spunkier and works alongside Felix and Hector. But if your other daughter is Aurelia (which to me is soft and romantic) I'd choose Genevieve (also soft and...
I have a feeling that this isn't the done thing – but I've written a little blog post on naming Iris. I thought some of you may like to have a look –

These are fabulous, so clever Nephele.
My letters –
I think they're both lovely names – I named my daughter Nora and know of two others the same age, (she's almost 2), but I don't know any little Emilys. All the Emilys I know are actually my age,...
What a wonderful list.
Blythe is a little more unusual than Olive, but I do think that Blythe B– might be a bit much. Say it aloud and see if you don't mind. If its a true favourite, it won't...
