Okay. So, I've come to the conclusion that I really like a lot of nature names, but they're automatically a "no" because hubby hates them all. =( I've also accepted the fact that I'm one of those...

Thank you for your feedback, everyone! I actually do like a lot of unisex names. (However, I dislike the burning rage that so many people seem to feel about those names being used on girls.)

My sons are Beckett and Rafferty. I'm definitely drawn to surnames, but I'm just more picky about the ones used for girls.
Classic names tend to feel boring to me. Sarah, Emma, Jane, Katie, Evelyn,...

I struggle with girl names. It's gotten to the point that I've wished for all boys so that I never have to name a girl. (Luckily, I've got 2 boys so far! Haha)
When I see a list or hear of a new...

I know if two babies born recently -one a #3 and one a #4- that have received names that their parents weren't 100% in love with, but they had already gotten themselves into a first letter tradition,...

Fable is my favorite from the names you listed.
I know a girl named Olivia that goes by Ollie and I think it's adorable. She has a sister named Nicole that goes by Cole too. I love the boyish twist...
Mary Robinette (she went by Robinette)
And a step-great-grandma Margaret
I also had a great-great-grandmother named Vera Adelaide. I think that's such...

Phoebe Adele (love this one!)
I came across the first name Wakefield in a book a while back, and it's sort of stuck with me ever since. He went by "Wake" most of the time. I thought that was a surprisingly good nickname for a...
I'm trying to convince him that it would make a much better name for a future dog. Maybe a Newfoundland;)
My husband LOVES the name Leif if we end up having anther boy someday. I like it too. I like the nature vibe and the way it flows with our last name... But that's the thing. It may flow a little too...
I actually really like the name Cabot. Maybe because I love the nicknames "Cal" and "Cam" and to me "Cab" has a similar feel. I live in the country, so the taxi association is the last thing to come...

I've been worried about the same thing! I just had a boy in March and if he would have been a girl, Finley was the name we were going to use. I LOVE it, but it does seem to be getting more popular,...

A friend from high school just named her son Kruix. Aka Crew. I'm guessing that maybe she was inspired by Croix?
I love Lochlan/Lachlan for a boy, but my husband thinks it sounds too feminine. I can see why it would seem that way, if you're saying the ending "in" instead of "un". I'm not a fan of changing the...
I recently had my second little boy, Rafferty Greys. His big brother is Beckett Davis. With a 3 year old and a 1 month old, it will definitely be a while before we add to our family. Just for fun...
