Hello all, I'd love your help narrowing down names for our baby boy due this summer. Our list of contenders is:

Used the numerals so that this thread won't show up in search results if, say, someone in my family were googling our family names. :)

Here's a question for you all - would you use a name to honor a departed family member, if when alive they went by a nickname or middle name due to not liking their name? My beloved grandmother was...
How about Summit? I know a little boy named that, and it'd definitely fit a Colorado vibe. :)

I love, love, love Zinnia!

I love Evers!
Couldn't the baby simply have been born a month early, scarletrune, if you find it impossible to believe that a due date could have been a month off? Babies generally gain 1/2 lb per week during the...
I also love the Fitz- names, and think Fitz is a very cute nickname. I don't think Fitzgerald being connected to F. Scott would be much of a source of teasing for kids. (No one is worried about their...

Where exactly are these birth announcements gleaned from? So many bizarro names.

I've only heard it in the Bible, but I could totally see it on a girl today.:)
I actually know a guy in his late 30s or early 40s named Cason, so it has been out there for awhile, at least.

I would just use one of the names you love, regardless of popularity.
I like all of your first name possibilities. The only thing I would say is not to use Lee as a middle name directly after the first names ending in vowels, as it sounds like they run together to my...

I think it helps, some, to envision the name on an actual person at each stage of life (baby, toddler, young kid, older kid, teenager, adult, elderly). If you can imagine it belonging to your baby at...
I love Frederick North! Please keep it. :)
My next door neighbor has a son named Benedict (goes mostly by Ben). That's what I thought of. :) They are Catholic, so I am sure it is the papal connection there. It is a great name!
