Soren Wilder is tied with Soren Archer in my book (can't believe I forgot to put it in the poll!). I think we were hoping this poll might convince us it's ok to choose a middle name that has no flow...
Haha Soarin Justice is funny. I didn't know that Superman was ever called that.
We also have been considering Wilder, but forgot to put it into the poll. It has the same ending issues as Archer...
Since Luca is a front runner if Soren ever has a little brother, we're staying away from all forms of that, but a good suggestion!
I see what you mean about flow. That's what I've been thinking. Im...
Jasper, Everett, and James were all in our final choices! We just liked the ones in the poll slightly better for various reasons. I'm leaning towards Soren Archer, but am a little unsure how it fits...
My husband and I have had a name picked out for nearly six months, but recently had second thoughts about the middle name. The first name is definitely Soren. We went through the entire top 1000...
Aw, that's so nice to hear! I liked your post so much that I read it to my husband. We've been calling him Soren since we found out his gender, and have loved how it just feels right. I'm glad you've...
Thanks! I like Soren James, really like Soren Alder (but it sounds strange with our last name), and Soren Elliott.
Soren is a significant name to us so we're also not especially concerned about...
We've decided on Soren for sure as a first name (so not looking for opinions on that please). It's really hard to find a middle name to go with that though. Here are the problems we've come across:

We're really interested in Elowen, need to consider it for a while and see if it sticks. We're going to test out Arwen and see how that goes.

Thanks so much!
We would use Winnie almost exclusively also, which makes the decision a bit easier. Elowen has grown on me today but it sounds like Arwen should be considered too (although I'm still...

We really like the name Rowen but it seems too boyish. I want to like Anwen. It's such a simple replacement for Arwen. But it just seems to lack some of the mystery and sparkle of Arwen.

Thanks, rhiatayler. Been lurking a while and decided it was time to jump in. Minnie is a great Aunt's name but does have all the same stuff going on as Winnie.
I'm glad you feel that way about...

There are some good ones to consider here! Thanks for the suggestions!
I still like Arwen/Arwyn the most, though. IS it too Lord of the Rings? I feel like it is, but maybe some nameberries can...

I like Elowen and just discovered Eowyn and Arianwen (and also just discovered that Jimmy Fallon just named his baby Winnie, how lame of me). Is the C in Ceridwen pronounced as an S?

Winona makes me think of Winona Ryder. I don't see Winnie coming from Willow. Wilhelmina doesn't sound feminine enough to me.
Sorry, we're obviously being picky (but this is a good thing to be...

We've narrowed our girl list down to 2 names and Winnie is the 2nd choice. It's so sweet and cute, feminine without too many frills. The problem is, we definitely see it as a nickname and aren't...
