Thank you, we're really excited. I appreciate your feedback!
Unfortunately, this will most likely be our last child, so we probably need to use Dana or Louise now.

I agree. I didn't even know my MIL's middle name until just now, as my husband and I agreed not to discuss names until we knew the gender. :) I'm excited it's something classic and hope that he will...

Thanks, everyone! I agree that the two-syllable names don't flow well with Dana.
I asked my husband and he said he might be open to using his mom's middle name, Louise, instead. Would that be...

I apologize, as I've posted before, but I just found out that we are having another girl!!!!! So now my hypothetical girls' list needs more serious work! :)
DD#1 is Julia Catherine (mn is my...

caitimae - my MIL pronounces her name "Day-nuh", so that is the pronunciation we would use. For that reason, it doesn't go well with a lot of the names I like that end in "a".
whirligig - I feel...

halfkoreangirl - thank you! I am going to run Marielle by some family members and see what they think!
waverly123 - I really appreciate your input! The only thing I don't like about Molly Dana is...
I like Louisa or Eloise best.
Holly Noelle is very pretty, but has too heavy of a Christmas focus for me.
I think Noelle Linnea is pretty and love the meaning behind it.
I really like Aurora Jocelyn!
I love Molly and Lauren together. I don't love Molly Jane though...but then, Jane isn't one of my favorite middle names. Any other middles you considered? If not, it's still my pick!

allyfally - Thanks! I think I like Marielle too. It saw it somewhere on NB, but haven't ever heard it in real life. Which do you prefer... Mariel, Marielle, or Mariella (along with Dana)?

It's beautiful, I love it. I usually don't like two middle names, but that flows really well and is much better with the two vs. one.
I'm confused...I thought your name sounded like cinnamon, but started with a "z"? If it's something like Zinnamon, than I think Alice sounds fine. If it does start with a "c" and sounds exactly like...

anotherana - Yes, we often call Julia "Juju"...my nephew started calling her that and it stuck. ZuZu is really cute, but I really will have to work to get my head around the "z"...I much prefer...

anotherana - yeah, I might put Maria back on my list and see what DH thinks of it. Margaret was another one I was considering...we can't use Maggie as a nn, since DH had a dog with that name, but...

anotherana - Thank you. We really love Julia Catherine and are struggling to find another girl's name we like as much. Catherine is also my mom's name. Catalina is really pretty too.
I have been...
I don't hear it. I like it!

I'd love your first (and honest!) reactions to the names on our current list... especially interested in what personalities/characteristics the names invoke for you. Thanks in advance!

Greta is cute - thanks for the suggestion.

I like Meredith and am adding it to the list - thanks! I appreciate your other feedback as well. Margo is a beautiful nickname for Margaret, but I do have a cousin Margo. If we named her Susannah, I...

Thanks for your suggestions! I really like Amalia (maybe nn Molly?).

I love Sienna and don't understand the pronunciation issues! Sienna and Stella are perfect together too! Keep it!

Thank you! I had not considered Blythe, but it's a possibility! I like Claire, but Claire Dana makes me think of Claire Danes. :) Love Grace, but DH said no.

I'm glad to hear that you think Amelia sounds elegant. I might be able to be convinced. We can't use Emily because DH's cousin is an Emily and his best friend's daughter is Emily.
