On the house thing, we bought our house when I was seriously nesting with our last child. I just "HAD" to have our own house and at that time house prices were at an all time low- so it proved a...

lookingahead Charlotte is a wonderful name. I had it on our list until one of DH's workmates used it for their baby (it's a small team so not right to use it now). I was in love with the nn Lottie,...

I can't believe it... 33 days (or less) to go!
Where has that time gone?
I'm suddenly feeling a sense of panic- I still have some special projects to complete before little Miss arrives- and not...
Theron is very eye catching- beats Jackson hands down!
Best of luck with your little man.
Ivy and May-Vee!!! That is just too adorable for words! I guess May is May V with the MN Vivienne.
TBH IMHO I think Walter is far less usable that Poppy.
I think just use Poppy- it's easy to say and spell yet so spunky and cool.
I prefer it to all of your other names (except Rose!) Sisters Poppy...

I love it when people pull faces at much loved names... NOT.
I am particularly partial to Atticus- perhaps she was thinking he meant Anakin? Now that's cool too.
Sebastian is lovely- after the...
At the 12 wk scan it's more of an educated guess. The 20 wks one is generally more accurate to predict gender.
Sounds like a little boy is on the way!!

katiree- Thanks for the positive comment on the name!
I bought 2 so far. One is just pretty with underwire fitted properly. The other is a 'crop top' feeding style bra. Both are a brand...

Lookingahead- sorry to hear you fell- must have been a real scare.
jtucker- it sounds like such a shock that he passed so suddenly. (((HUGS))) Alice is lovely- I know an Alice who is 21- she often...
Thanks for thoughts and voting.
I 'think'- based on looking at poll results, thinking about meaning/ family importance and a chat with DH that we may have settled on the name Phoebe Eliza Grace!!!...
Thanks Abca- Elodie is a name I like and have considered. But I'm already confused by the 3! LOL
Charlottelouise- I'm starting to lean towards Eliza. I know it would mean so much to my DH's...
I 'think' we've decided on Phoebe for this darling girl due in 43 days (or less if she surprises us).
Phoebe just appeals as it is known yet not overly common, the meaning/s are great too.
Funny enough I have thought of the exact same combo, and as an Aussie I adore the sentiments.
Poppy Matilda Rose- I agree Rose is a common middle but it...

A perfectly healthy child is not that expensive.
What you can't plan on is whether your child will be healthy.
Add a special need and you may be in big financial trouble.
I think it matches in well with your other choices.
Iris is a lovely name.
If you like the sound- perhaps Irini?

I had a little scare this week. My blood pressure was all over the shop and I ended up in the maternal assessment unit being monitored. Luckily it settled down and I don't need medication at this...
My DD met a sib set today: Atticus and Orwell.
She commented to the mother- "you must like literature"... the mother looked at her blankly.
I really like Bridget (that spelling). I have considered it for this little girl with the NN Bree.
I've seen lots of people commenting that they like a Baby Jogger City Select for a tandem pram. You can have one seat only plus wear a sling. Have one seat plus one bassinet when baby is little. Then...

Vec- hmmm a puppy? Not a good idea IMHO. Just when the puppy needs obedience school and is chewing everything in sight you'll have a brand new baby to care for. Then when bub is learning to walk...
Here we'd say Lonna as LON- ah.
If you wanted Law-na here it would be written as Lorna.
Mind you we say Clara like Clar (like star) -ah not CLAIRE-ah like American's seem to.
I'm an Aussie- so maybe that's why I see Lah as Lar? I 100% saw it as Lahna. Maybe because I knew a child called Lahnee pronounced Lar-nee?
So you want it said as LAY-na? is that right? like Layla...

I know a little Hermione- she gets nick named "mynee" (not sure how they spell it). So I think it's usable.
Personally, I just adore Matilda more.
I think use it!
I even know a brother and half brother with the same middle name (the dad's middle name).
My cousin has my middle name as her first name and her brother has my brother's middle name...
