Hugo Vincent- maybe it's a little too much but I think it fits. Not sure how much of a surfer name Hugo is.
Sebastian Vincent- not sure if these work too well but Sebastian is a beachy name in my...
I prefer it on a boy. I'm from England and from my experience it's really uncommon here I've never heard of anyone called Aspen. But I think of it as as much as a boy's name as a girl's if if not...
I'm another Darling lover! My mum has friend's with that last name and whenever she talks about them she always calls them by their first and last name. Oh it's so sweet! Also Bronte is probably one...
@ottilie oh I do like that. It is a more for want of a better word reasonable name than Danger. Thanks for the suggestion!
@boyandgirl I wouldn't say 'scary' exactly but it's completely your...
Thanks everyone for the feedback so far. I knew that this would be the general consensus really. I have talk to other people about the idea and they kind of like it usually not to use for themselves....
I'm one of those nameberries to likes to have a stash of baby names as a 'just in case' so don't worry this is (for the moment) more of a hypothetical question.
Recently I've rather fallen in love...
Sarah, Marcus and Emma
Since I found out the names for Rebel's sisters and brother I'm slightly in love with their names. They are on my guilty pleasure list of baby names. I don't think I could bring myself to using them...
My and a few of my friends were out for a meal and we were talking about baby names (we're all 18/19 too) and we all love the name Noah for a boy and Florence is on most of out girl lists. So we...

I love reading what everyone thinks and I can accept some people not liking it as an idea. Personally I do agree it does depend on the last name if you want to use it in full form (or just drop and...

I was talking with a few of my friends about this, I'm a little indifferent I think it work if you have a surname that is also a first name. What are your thoughts and what names would you use,...

Thanks @usagurll4 and @greyer I love hear what other people think of character names and the kinds of people they imagine it really helps me think of what works best :)
Bit of a late contribution but, my name is Hope. I get called, Hopester, soapy and Hopesy (my middle initial being C but it sounds like Hope-sy) My family have a tendency of just using words that...

From these first names what kind of character would you think of, just a word or two would be great. Anything extra would be wonderful :)

Personally I like the idea of using two middle names, I think your combo works well. It works a lot better with 'softer' names like Michael for one if not both of them, I think it sounds less 'showy'...
I don't think it's overly popular, the chances are high though they will have another Emma in their school, but it's a very nice name :)
That's so sweet, I love the Name Rose even though lots of people say it's overused. I also adore Hattie I like more 'old fashioned' names. It's very cute!

@Eskay I've not heard of the name Berend, but I understand it not working as well in English and thank you
@thetxbelle I do like it better with an accent listening to the link, it certainly gives...

@ashthedreamer I personally pronouce it as Bear-Ren but I understand it reminding you of ‘berren’ and thanks, I really think names like Amadeus should be brought back :)
