This has happened to me for 20 years. I fall head over heels for a name, and I may actually love it for years, but it inevitably falls off my list of top favorites. Sometimes, they get bumped back...
Such a troublesome surname.
I sometimes wish my husband had taken my surname (Wolf) instead. LOL

What names make you think strawberry blonde?

I would go with a name you and your husband love. Your son can always call her Hannah as a nickname if he's so attached to the name. Nicknames don't have to make sense. ;)
If you're hating all the names you see, maybe you just need to take a break from it for a little while. Then you can come back to the search fresh. Or just find some names you don't completely hate...

I'm not a fan of Rod (mainly for the teasing potential), but the right personality could certainly carry that nickname just fine. And Roderick is a good solid name. It would give your son other...
I found this pretty humorous except for the part about grandma knitting a blanket. My grandma died while I was pregnant. And my son has a crocheted blanket that a family friend finished, because my...

I'd go with either
Mila Sage (mee-luh)
Personally, I prefer Mila, because I would totally use it as a nickname for Camille (on my long list). And I also wouldn't worry about...
I've considered Frank many times, but I can't get past the image of my great-great grandfather, Frank Darling. I guess I don't see anything inherently wrong with the name. I just very strongly...
I've had that happen a lot over the years. I think that's why I keep looking back at the same names over and over. Because one will just jump out at me sometimes, and I may have never really cared...

I wouldn't use an a-ending name unless it happens to be the only name my hubby approves (assuming I even have a daughter next time).
I feel like Frederic fits the best with your other sons, but if you like the others better, don't hesitate to use them.

Hugo (I love this name, but obesity does run in my husband's family. :( )

I don't see a problem as long as you avoid the nickname Emma. I have an older cousin John and a younger brother Jonathan. There was never any real confusion. My brother occasionally goes by Jon...

Today, I'm feeling:
Ansel Theodoric or Hubert Theodoric
Astrid Isadora or Solenne Isadora

Because it looks more masculine, balanced, cultural, less like Giardia.

Probably related to this name:

If I had to make a guess, I'd guess it might be related to Einar or Ingram, but I'm no expert on Norse names.
Impressions I get from Penelope:
Penelope is bright pink.
It feels like a silky ribbon, but it fills up and sits heavy in my mouth like a very rich dessert.
I also think of pennies in an...
I've encountered other Rachels who shared one of my interests (arts, biology, languages), but they all seemed pretty different to me. I think the sheer number of Rachels makes for a rather motley...

When we were naming our son, I was worried my husband would veto everything like I've heard from so many others. But it was a pretty painless process. (I have a feeling it may be harder when we try...
