My husband - it's his child, too! I appreciate input from my family, as well, but in the end it's between myself and my husband. :)

It is still a little bit of a struggle. Today was the last day I had to do the tongue stretches, so I'm glad I don't need to keep traumatizing him with those. I still need to exercise his tongue so...

@jtucker I didn't realize when I was having contractions either. Hope Isla is on her way out! :)

@jtucker I just watched Episode IV the other day with Jameson! Well, I watched it and he just nursed haha.
@jessieo I hope Arthur comes soon! And hopefully you'll get some sleep after, but it may...
I agree with @jackal. If I went to someone's house to see the baby (which I wouldn't do unannounced, but whatever) and saw that sign, I would probably turn around and leave. People aren't and should...

Mommy brain! It happens to the best of us. :)

Speaking of the group, is it made yet? I didn't get a Facebook notification about it after I sent my friend request.
My MIL was just in town for a week and it was amazing. She let me sleep while...
I'd definitely recommend checking out Car Seats for the Littles - csftl.org They have lots of good information!

Jameson was active until the end, too! He would kick and flail like crazy. When I see him do it now, my husband is like yup, I can see how you were so uncomfortable.
Good luck, lerenard! :)
You are right. There is no perfect time to have a baby. Obviously, there are better times - like, you wouldn't want to plan to have a baby when you know you're broke or something like...

Yeah, I heard no alcohol as well. We would swab around it with a dry q-tip to get rid of the yuckiness, but other than that we just let it do its thing. It fell off on like, day 10 or so? I forget. ...

Ugh yes the cord stump smelled NASTY! It was so nauseating. Poor dude smelled like death and I couldn't do anything about it.
Another awful night here... he didn't scream all night but he was...

@moonkai woohoo! Jameson hates his bassinet... I feel like an awful mom because I know he isn't supposed to sleep extended periods in his bouncer or swing but sometimes that's literally the only...

@moonkai I felt the same way, which is such a tease. But after a while it went away and got replaced with sheer exhaustion haha.
Last night was the WORST. Jameson kept crying for absolutely no...

@moonkai Jameson was the same way. He hardly made any wet diapers and I felt like I was constantly feeding him. He tore me up, too, because of his tongue. Once my milk came in, his diapers were...

Luna is so precious!!
@Angelica hope you feel better soon!
I'm outside the clinic to get Jameson's tongue tie released... hope everything goes smoothly for us.

Congratulations!!! Welcome to the big baby club, haha

Don't beat yourself up about the epidural. I wanted to go natural, but being induced can throw a wrench into that plan. When they told me it could possibly take 2 DAYS, and my contractions were...

I think two nursing bras will be fine; I didn't even wear one of mine until we were discharged haha.
@moonkai I had the Foley bulb, too! It was so weird. Definitely not painful, but when it was...

Depends are pretty fantastic, I must say. Haha. I really liked having a robe, since the hospital was freezing (after delivery of course - I was so hot during!), and my own socks. I REALLY wish I had...

Good luck, @moonkai!!! Yay baby time!!
Here's a picture of Jameson I took the other night... he is such a porker haha
I've never heard of that, either! There are some people (like your midwife) who do think breastfeeding is just for food, but I think it's way more than that. My son is almost 4 weeks and I feed him...

@moonkai I was terrified, too! Hope everything goes well for you.
@jessicaflux ughhh I know what you mean. Jameson isn't colicky but he did refuse to sleep yesterday without my boob in his mouth,...
