It's very beautiful and is on my list! I might name my daughter this. A good nickname for Maple is Mae.
I think it's trendy or at least really popular because I see people mentioning it on Yahoo Answers all the time, and on here and on baby name polls.

Adair is a pretty name! If she ever grows tired if it or gets teased she can always go by Addy/Addie or Ada. Those aren't very obvious nicknames for example Nick from Nicholas but it can work! I...
Tara and Anna work! Tara means star and is very beautiful, while Anna is a classic which is unique because you don't hear it as much anymore as you do Isabella and Ashley.
You could always do Beverly-Bettie.
Or spell it Beverlie, getting the -ie from the name Bettie while keeping the sound of Beverly.
I was almost names this but was named Kiba instead.
I thought I was the only one who liked this name. Guess I was wrong!

I pronounce it as Ee sol dah, but others pronounce it Ee sold. I prefer the first one though. A variant of Isolde is Iseult.

Love that name actually! If you name her Meadow, give her a middle name like Elizabeth or Catherine. Not Rose or Violet or Willow or any naturey names as they don't go as we'll together. Nickname...

I'm talking a real human girl, and not as a middle name either :) I thought it was really beautiful when I saw it. It's French and pronounced Or-ay-lee. It means "golden". Would it work as a name?
Thank you all! Not pregnant but I still really like the name and wouldn't use it. I'm naming my daughter Rose.
It's Greek and the meaning of this girl's name is "modest". What do you think of it? It's a real name and not a trendy spelling for Haiti.
I have always loved the name Penelope but only thought of Penny and Nellie as nicknames for it. When I found out Poppy could be a nickname for Penelope, it made me love the name all the more! Great...
The person could go by Genny so yes, it does have a nickname option. I think it is very trendy and I see it a lot in Baby-Name forums and I think someday it'll even be in the top 50, or if it keeps...
I love the name Sybil. I think it's real pretty. The original spelling is Sybil, but a lot of people spell it as Sibyl, I noticed. I was signing up for something today and I saw the name "Sybil"...
