I absolutely adore Beatrice / Beatrix but everyone I know can't pronounce it correctly and that would forever annoy me so I can't use it.
I pronounce it Be-ah-trice / Be-ah-trix
Everyone else I...

Aurora Jessica or Aurora Kate.
Middle name changes but Aurora is my all time favourite girl name, my other half isn't sold on it though.
I am so happy to announce that today I became a very proud aunt to a little baby girl! (my second niece)
Her name is Carly and her name honours her gran Carol who passed away last...
From your boys I really like Griffin and Harrison, I think they flow well with the mn Michael and your surname.
From your girls I really like Willa and Vivienne
Love that spelling for Vivienne....
I love Katherine nn Kate but I'm bias! It's classic and beautiful and has soo many nickname options. I prefer the K spelling to the C though but I don't know why.
So I definitely vote classic,...

I agree, I'm not a fan of Georgia, it's my sisters mn and it's after my father who I have zero relationship with so it has bad connotations in my mind.

I'm a Laura and I love my name so I vote Laura, my second vote would be Katherine :)
These are brilliant ideas, I'd need to ask my brothers for all these tho, but I really like this! Thank you!
My nephew Tyler is nearly four so it would be nice for him to have a sister named after his gran in a way. I like Charlotte, Carys, Carly, and Carrie. xo
These are some good suggestions, thank you! I'll show them to my brother and see what he thinks, he doesn't say much about his mum but I know he would love to name his daughter after her. xo
Hi berries :)

A few weeks...
I've only ever heard of the MORE-AG way of pronouncing it, so more-awk is completely alien to me. Pronounce it the way you like.
I'd vote Ceilidh but I'm Scottish so maybe that's just me.
My neighbours have an 8 month old called Kaylee and I hate the spelling especially since kaylees brother is Bradley too many lee/ley...

We have this situation going on as well my nephew Tyler, he is about to become a big brother, and we don't know the sex of the new baby but Tyler tells everyone that he is going to have a baby sister...
I am Scottish, I live just outside Glasgow and I think Scotland is too much of a country name for a first name, I think it would be OK as a middle.
My boyfriend is Irish, and his full family are...
Bee-ah-triss, three syllables.

My mums name is Jessie but she goes by Shona, apparently Shona is gaelic for Jessie so that's understandable to a certain extent. My gran (mum's mum) was called Janet but always went by Jessie.

Emmett, I adore it, I love how it's a name that can grow with a little boy. It's strong and masculine and absolutely perfect! It's the one name that me and my oh have actually agreed on.
I agree, Sawyer is a boy's name and I wish people would stop trying to ruin it by making it a girls name! It's a strong male masculine name, not a girls name. I've had this argument with my sister...
