I know it isn't the nicest thing to say but if i saw a little girl was called Michael I wouldn't be able to help judging the parents of that child negatively. I realise it probably says more about me...
This hasn't happened to anybody I know, but I can imagine how strange it would feel. I was told my baby was a boy from 13 weeks and if he appears as a girl I imagine I would feel really strange, like...

Very unique sounding names.
James Cutler - Cutler sounds so much like a surname I don't like it.
Loki Shadow - This is just silly for a real...
Oh nooo I don't like it. It is not an ugly or unattractive name though, I think just nms.
Isaac is one of my favourite names and Kevin is my most despised, so Isaac Kevin sounds so strange to me. The c-k sounds are an issue, and I think that Kevin Isaac sounds a lot better.
I like Hugo a lot. For me it is very British and classic.
I feel like Pax is a name I shouldn't like, but I really do. There's something really great about it, although I can't pinpoint what that something is.

I like Thomas James the most. James is one of my favourite boys names.
I am English and the slang John Thomas is just too widely known to ever be taken seriously as a name for a child.

I like Jasper William Grey. Sounds like a character from a literary classic - very handsome!
Thank you, Blade! Your posts are so informative. I am low risk, and the midwives work in a hospital with the obstetrics group. There will be OB on the labour ward in case of any emergency.
I agree with this comment. But i'm sure there are some "issues" with you that we are not aware of so I will say that if changing your name is so important to you then go with Rose. The Beatrix Rose...
I feel like the right thing would be to honour your father in the way that you said you would. I would be hurt if my daughter/son decided to honour me and then changed her mind - I wouldn't show it...

I like Theo but it isn't anywhere near as fantastic as Theodore. I can't imagine your son resenting you for giving him the name. I am from England but have lived in the Midwest of America for nearly...
I've never been good at suggesting for other people, but I will give you a list of my favourites and maybe you will like one! You already have my favourite Roman on your list. Some others I love are:...

Eeeeeeee it makes me so happy to see that Roman Alexander is winning the poll :)
I adore Isaac, I really do, and even though we spent months referring to him as Isaac - he feels like a Roman to...
I don't think Eleanor is old ladyish at all! I think it is a nice idea, but I would just go for Nora as a first name - especially if you aren't loving Eleanor.
I don't think Ella stands alone very...
Margot Anya Fleur
Clara Alice Pearl
I think they are both lovely, but I prefer Penelope June.

I much prefer Hazel.
I don't know why somebody would say that to you? Weird. Definitely do not think that your daughter would need a nickname ending in Y. I feel like nicknames come naturally anyway.
I really wouldn't...
