@mill1020 - please add my name Mischa to the card. Thank you for doing this on our behalf.
I remember Blaire's posts well. She took great care in choosing a name for her children. It gives me a little comfort to think of how pleased she would have been with her husband's meaningful choice...
I haven't been active on Nameberry for a while (self-imposed) but I decided to come on today when I read this terrible news. This tragedy hits many of us so hard but I still can't even imagine the...
GIRLS (in order of preference):
BOYS (in order of preference):
I think it would be better in the middle spot. I wouldn't use it for a first name (I took Spanish for many years).
1 Griffin - spunky
2 Grant - handsome
3 Everett - distinguished. With the nn Rhett, this might not be too long.
Sorry but I'm not a fan of this name (and it's sad for me to say it because I'm of Irish heritage :)). Calhoun just sounds like an Irish pub name to my ears.

Leopold Sebastian is quite a handsome and distinguised combo so it's my favourite on your list. Second would be Arlo Sullivan. I'm not really into "surnames as first names" unless they have some...
With the exception of Abigail, Alexandra, Michael and Alexander which are more classic and traditional names, I would say you have a modern or contemporary style. In general, the majority of the...
Jude is a MALE saint name so I don't like it for girls. It's an awesome name for a boy though.
Eli- this is one of my faves on your list but it does have a repetitive "eye" sound when your surname is taken into account.
Liam- this sounds ok with your surname but I'm not a big fan of this...

Personally, I love so many "Rose" names that I would feel compelled to pick one of them rather than just Rosie. But to answer your question, yes, I think Rosie can stand on its own. I don't like it...

Anna Pearl is my favourite combo on your list. I like the blend of classic and vintage.
Congrats to you and welcome to Nameberry!
I think Josephine is a vintage gem so I'm glad to see someone choosing it. I prefer Leah as the mn due to the family connection. I love the name Violet...
Sorry but I agree with lumen.

I learned some valuable lessons very early in life.
1) You won't like every person you meet and, likewise, not everyone is going to like you. That's life.
2) People have different opinions and...
I think Juniper Hettie flows the best. The other two have a couple of problems.
Juniper Rose - two name names plus the "r" in one blends into the "r" in the other
Juniper Etta - these two run...
Starl looks incomplete - like it's missing some letters. I'm not a fan of any of the "Star" names you mentioned. Starlight may be ok to use as a quirky mn choice. I think Starl has remained as rare...
Congrats to you and welcome to Nameberry.
For Roman's sister, I would suggest the following names.

My fave is Lucy but with your relatively common surname (D@vis), I think it may be wise to choose something a little more unusual and less popular.
I would eliminate...
Vaida is too matchy in...

I think you should do some research on conservative talk show host, Rush Limbaugh. I don't really think it's that cool if he's the first person I think about when I hear it. Just saying.

1 Joseph Wilder - this combo is lovely and sounds like an author name which is a good thing in my book!
2 Lewis Quade - although I do prefer the French spelling and pronuncation Louis (loo-ee)

Both are fine names but I prefer Juliet. It's sophisticated and romantic. I prefer the Juliet spelling more than the French version of Juliette which looks overdone to my eyes.
Top Three Combos
1 Matilda Fleur
2 Florence Rose
3 India Simone
Personally, I don't mind girls names ending in "a" as long as they're different in sound. I would not use Lucia and Cecilia together. Elena, Isabel, Lucia and Vivienne OR Elena, Isabel, Cecilia and...
