BTW thank you v much for all these suggestions. I liked Grant and Ford but DH vetoed these along with most of your other suggestions! He doesn't like names that sound like surnames...

Thanks. I like Saoirse (and Sadhbh and Tadhgh) but think it's best to stick with a phonetic name.

Thank you both for your feedback. DH has vetoed Emmet and Gabriel. I have vetoed Oisin so we are left with Cormac Ryan. Still not convinced we couldn't do better than Cormac or Rose for that matter....

Hi, for a girl we're thinking Rose Ryan. Ryan's my maiden name (Lennon and Barrett are our mothers' maiden names) so Ryan will be at least one middle name for a boy too if not the only middle name. ...
