I love Cosette! I love Les Miz too and I think the association is cool.
I am looking for names that go well with Bronte and was hoping for some Berry feedback!
I love Ruby Alice! Fellow New Englander here and I second the idea that the name is not heard much around here. Hazel is also a very lovely name -- tough choice! Hazel Ruby could work though, if...
Thank you for all the feedback so far! Any other Berries want to weigh in?
Do these combos do anything to soften Bronte or make it less pretentious?

I agree with the previous poster that Elise Smith is hard to say. What about Elisa? It would flow better, you could use Elise as a nickname and it would be easier to find middles for.
As a middle name, Ivory is a beautiful, rare choice. I love it! I agree with you that it sound kind of homey, but in an elegant way. For some reason, it has the expensive & hunting connotations...

I think Hailey is a really beautiful and sweet name and if you love it you should definitely go for it! Concerning popularity, I think that the name is decreasing in popularity but still not so far...
What do you think of it? I think it has a neat sound and also a cool meaning as a word name! What kind of a boy/man do you picture having this name?

Mercer does not sound appealing to me. I don't have a specific negative association. I guess it makes me think of "mercenary" and "merciless" or something like that.

These combos are all beautiful! Regarding your dilemma with the Adelaide Dahlia Quinn combo, here are some alternative ideas:
-- I think part of the problem is that the two "d" sounds right in a...
Well, you could use a -lyn -lynn name such as Violet Madelynn/Madeline, Violet Adelyn, or Violet Carolyn.
Also, longer names beginning with the "lynn" sound might flow a little better than...

Maybe you could use inspiration from one of the grandparents on the paternal side and one on the paternal side? Idk which names are paternal/maternal, but...
I think Ofelia is very pretty and I prefer it to Ophelia.
Oh, this is a cool idea!
I would not have picked this name off a list as something I would like, but the more I think about it, the more stunningly beautiful it is. It does not sound made up to me at all. Very historic and...
Hazel- I love Hazel but if the bad associations are too strong for you, maybe it isn't a good idea.
