We're taking a handful of names to the hospital and plan to meet boy before making a final choice.
I'd say this kid has about a 75% chance of being William or Willem. The other names (Bruce,...
Forgot to mention, older sister is Elsa. (Yes, like Frozen, but born 2 years before...)
I'm not too concerned with creating a nice-sounding sibset.
Babe #2 is a boy! Not feeling as inspired with this one. Here are the names currently being thrown around.
Our last name is very similar to Bartholomew. Middle name will probably be Michael,...
My 3-year-old is Elsa and we get comments about it every. single. day. Proceed with caution.

Thanks elliekay. I'm sure I'm sensitive to it, as she's my daughter. I feel like we can't escape it, so it's difficult to see light at the end of the tunnel. And as other commenters have...

Thanks for the reply. I think the long-term worries me more than the short. Yeah, maybe she'll love it at age 5, but what about 15, 25, 35, 45...

My daughter age 3 is named Elsa.
We chose the name for many reasons. I thought it was lovely, sophisticated and worked well with our last name. It's a variation of my middle name, Elizabeth. It...

My 3-year-old daughter is Elsa. She was born in 2011 (age 2 when movie came out). If I had been able to see the into future, I would not have chosen Elsa.
Of course I still love the name, but...
As another pre-Frozen Elsa parent, you have my sympathy.
I like all of your options, but my favorites are
Like Spring07, I would probably avoid the name Elsa now (and speak from experience). Our almost-3-year-old is Elsa and while I love her name, dealing with the comments every day can be frustrating. ...
FYI your instincts are correct. We named our girl Elsa 2 years before the movie came out and get tons of, OH LIKE FROZEN comments. Blah.
Here are other names we considered...

Great, thanks. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't like Lara & Tara... or Lara & Laura...
BTW, my parents totally had a powder blue hard cover samsonite luggage set in the early 80s. Forgot all...
I wish I liked it, but yes, I think "syrup" or a flavor when I hear it. One of my favorite flavors, but still a flavor. And as someone above posted, it also does remind me of Mabel. However if I...

I mean phonetically btw. I know they look different written/typed. :)
Hmmmm, how about
Hazel Matilda Jane
Hazel Beatrix Wren
Hazel Josephine Rose

We have a little Elsa. Would Alice be too close for a little sister? It's the only name that gives me that fluttery feeling currently...

Thanks everyone. And thanks for the suggestions. A lot of the suggestions we considered but rejected bc of personal reasons.
I definitely lean more classic with boys and classic-with-twist...

Little Elsa is almost 3. We still love her name of course, but hoping to find something for her sister/brother that won't be part of Disney's next project. Does anyone have a crystal ball? ;)

My 2.5-year-old is Elsa. I'll be totally honest with you. We get several "Oh, like the Frozen movie!" comments each day. Not just from moms/kids at the park, but everywhere. After one of my...
Would love to hear your first-impression responses on these names...
Elsa is in our top three for baby girl due next week!
However, we haven't been able to agree on a middle name. Some possibilities we've thrown around are:
