I guess you could consider most of my children's names "made up". Zabryn came from a dream. my daughters' middle names are a mash of my grandmothers' names and Revvie was created by switching letters...

When we were potty training, I sat Revvie on the potty. She went (yay!), so I wiped her up. She insisted she had more and tried hard to pee some more. When nothing more would come out, she yelled at...
To honour past generations in a middle name spot, you are definitely good to use it.
I vote Julian

Have at it. I know my style is more out there. :) Don't mind that I am including my current children's names. You don't have to like them for me to love them. :)

I'm not a fan of either name, but I really don't see how a name like Frankie would get a child teased. Apple-yes, Frankie-no. Maybe my schooling was different growing up, but kids weren't teased on...

I don't dislike nicknames, I just don't understand why, if you choose to call your child one name, why you HAVE to have a different name for them to carry. Like, "I love the name Elle. What names...
Not personally a fan of the name, but if you like it, use it. I'm put off by the Ren-ends-lee part of it. Makes it seem like two separate names to me. Though I have to admit, never seen a minute of...

If there's a nickname that you're going to call him-like jelly bean or peanut, just tell her that's his name until you get to lay your eyes on his beautiful face. That way, if she wants to...
I prefer Nathan Bradley.

If the situation were to arise, I would give her the option to choose a middle name (or one of two) after I had picked a first name. That way, she would be called a name you would feel attached to,...
I prefer Winston. A more solid, time withstanding name.
For the most part, we were kind of out there in our names, so I think I was at little risk of having someone in my circle use any of them. Some people have a name in their mind and don't research for...

With my kids' names, not much seems too out there to me. The ones I can think of are:
I guess R is popular. :)

We used a combo of grandparents names for our kids' middle names. I like honoring a generation they never got to meet, but is a part of them.
If we were to continue on and had 2 more, a boy and a girl, they would be Atticus Barnaby and Vesper Maizze.

Personally having a daughter named Daytona, I love the name. Anyone who thinks she is "trashy" by hearing her name and not knowing her is ignorant.
That being said, I do not like the double a...

Maple. Love the simple elegance, twist on Mabel
Zuzu. Flash to the sugary "angel gets his wings"
Atticus. We actually used the false name filler of Atticus Barnaby for our son. The...
