I like it. Great name!
It's so much snappier. It's got a vitality that the 'n' in Leon just kind of sucks away, if you ask me. I know a darling little Leo who couldn't not be a bit cuter and the name fits...
It is a common French name and it's one of my favorites too. It means light! It has so much going for it. I would also pronounce it, Luci-EN, However, my qualm with this name is that it sounds so...
Thanks, Berries. I appreciate your feedback.
Jayden and Rylan are not appealing to me because they sound made up. I find myself loving strong yet soft names. Ezra, Milo and Jasper all fit the...
Yes, it sounds like Jonah, Joe, Joel & Noah. But it is a Hebrew name in it's own right found four times in the Bible and carrying it's own meaning, "brother of God".
What do you think...
It's a no-go. Sorry!

Thanks, friends! Your feedback is very helpful. My brother thinks Ozzy is it's own Elvis, that people will have only one connotation that will live on forever. But it sounds like most of you agree...

Our baby boy is due in a couple of months and my top name right now is Ozzy. There's much I love about it. It's short. It's clear. It's interesting and it's not too common. But there are two big...
Funny. I have a Clementine and now, after reading through these posts, am starting to love the name Maple. It sounds very fresh to me and likable. I'll be naming baby #2 in a few months and this may...
I'd rethink Murron if I were you.
mom2one2's right. It sounds just like 'son of a' which is trouble if you ask me.
I'm loving the name Zola right now. May use it.
After removing the names that I don't love and then applying my "names that have at least one long vowel sound really pop" rule, I'm left with the following:
I adore Magnolia. My husband, however, does not. :(
My friend's name is Piper and she got called Pooper growing up.
I adore Magnolia and Marigold and would use both if my husband were in. I love your taste here. Gorgeous!
I agree, Azalea is beautiful and I'd definitely keep the 'z' in the nickname. Zélie or Aza work best I think.
Thanks, boyandgirl. I adore Clementine as well and it certainly fits our spunky little girl. Still uncertain about Zola but your assurance helps.
Thanks, jayden101. Yes, Azelie is growing on me.
cgwaltney, any reason for recommending Zella? I can't say it's a favorite.
bibliophile, you may be right, thanks.
ella17, that's the catch here. I...
Isla Sunday is gorgeous to me. It carries me away to a sweet and tranquil place. I'd love it if this were my name!
Ooh, how fun to read your responses. I adore this website and read it daily.
Kala_way, I appreciate your thoughtful considerations of these two names together. I'd never considered a...
My daughter's name is Clementine. We sometime pronounce it the French way, as her daddy's native language is French.
For our next daughter, I've been wanting to find a name that works with...
Minnie is a cute option for Magnolia. It's been growing on my lately and I quite love it. Great name choice, by the way. Magnolia is beautiful.
I have a Clementine and I'm trying to win my husband over for our next girl to be a Marigold. He's not in yet, but I'm still hoping!
