I mostly just like names for their look and sound. That's pretty much it; the other stuff isn't nearly as important. For me, it's the name itself that holds its appeal, not whatever it's supposed to...

I love Lina names, as well as Lina itself. My personal favourites are Adelina, Evelina, and Carolina/Catalina. :)
Welcome to all the new Teenberries! It's nice to see the thread is experiencing a bit of a revival; things were slowing down for a bit there :)
Is anybody else getting a bit bored of summer? I...

I chose Everild. It just seemed to suit her. How amazing would it be if a Berry won? (Or how disappointing if none did; we're supposed to be pros at this!) :)

My name is Isabella, but at the time I was born and throughout my childhood, it was pretty much at the popularity/familiarity level that Isadora or Araminta is now. I always had to (and still do) put...
Arcadia is one of my favourite "slightly out-there" names! Love It :)
That looks really interesting; I'll check it out :)
I just finished reading The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. It was incredible; one of the best books I have ever read. The writing was very good, but it had the most fascinatingly complex...
@Bellerose - Good for you! In my opinion, you made the right choice. You can always go back to school later on if you feel like "settling down" and becoming a kindergarten teacher. The consulate one...
Wow, that's both amazing and really hard. I feel like its kind of a adventure vs comfort thing. What would you specifically be doing at the embassy/consulate?
I was almost Olivia, Francesca, Angelica, or Charlotte. But I'm Isabella. Almost all of those names are trendy now, 16 years later. My parents were unintentional hipsters....
I know this isn't very cheerful, but Sunday was the 1 year anniversary of when a performer died in the middle of a Cirque Du Soleil show; a mom of 2 kids (she fell almost 100 feet because of a...
Congrats Bellerose! That's awesome :)
Welcome Pilar - I love your name BTW!
@Tali - That is...that is very hot. But your summer sounds pretty idyllic to me :)
A boy on my brother's soccer team is named Bodin. I think his family is Scandinavian?

I realized I left out a lot about arts, pop culture, etc. and you guys said a lot about yours, so I'm gonna clog up this thread just a bit more ;)

I know, right! (I could just talk about this all day, haha) Her performance really stuck with me. I tend to like things like that; disturbing but strangely beautiful. I admit I don't really like...

This is a really nice idea. I've been enjoying reading about all of you, some of you familiar to me, some not so much, but now you are!
My name is Isabella and I'm turning 16 in a few weeks...
Is that because of the movie? That's immediately what I thought of, too.

Ginzo (pronounced HEEN-so)
I really like Mosca, for some reason. I like last names that end in a.
I love it, it's one of my all-time favourites, but only as a nickname. But that's just my taste, I tend not to like names ending in "ie" as full names. But, I could definitely see a girl with...
I'll See You Again by Westlife
Ride by Lana del Rey - not because the lyrics are particularly sad, but a lot of Lana del Rey songs make me teary simply because of the mood and the sound.
I knew a girl with one brown eye and one grey eye. It wasn't terribly noticeable, less than you would think, but everyone thought it was really cool.
Also, my left eye is brown and my right eye...

At the very moment:
Octavia Rose :)
Not sure if I could ever actually use that, though.
@Bellerose - Here are links to the Youtube Videos, these are the only ones I could find when I looked for it again (of course) and yeah, book series' do that to you- apparently there are like 12...

I like a lot of nicknames, but I don't like a lot of full names for them.
