@nannster - glad to hear DH is home safe! Good luck this cycle :)
Welcome back @asche! Sorry your doc was unsupportive of your plans, she should have been a bit more tactful and professional if...

I haven't had it during labour (currently TTC #1) but I did have it during my wisdom tooth extraction both times (I had two done at a time) and I thought it was great! It's most definitely on my...
Congratulations @truenature! Can't wait to see what name this little gets, your girls names are gorgeous!
Starting to spot today, and feeling kind of crampy so I expect AF will show tomorrow,...
@moondreams If your period is 11 days late, a test would be reliable now! For those with irregular periods, the benchmark for a reliable test is 19 days after the sex in question, but a period that's...
Glad to hear things are going well for you @cyoung, and you've gotten some answers and a solid plan! Sorry you have to skip this cycle, especially since its your anniversary, but at least you can...
Been having some spotting again over the last three days, as well as some cramping. Totally in line with implantation, but the same thing happened last month so I'm trying not to get my hopes up too...
@raptreverie it is kind of odd that your docs are happy with using a previous ultrasound, especially if there's concern you may have an active UTI/kidney infection. If the pain persists, I'd push for...
I'm sorry you're going through all of this @cyoung. I hope things can be sorted out quickly and you are able to get back into TTC in earnest.
Try not to get disheartened that TTC has become more...
@raptreverie - I hadn't planned on OPKs, but DH and I are anxious to conceive since we had to wait for a few months while we waited for my surgery and final pathology results to come back. I'd love a...
OPKs test for leutinizing hormone, not HCG so they will not work as a pregnancy test.
OPKs will almost always give you a weak positive as you always have a low level of LH in your body. That's...
@cyoung I've been taking the test mid afternoon typically. I'm assuming it just wasn't picked up for some reason (I relied on fertility friend to give me my likely fertile dates and we just went with...
OPKs say I still haven't ovulated...I'm getting impatient! I've had fertile CM the last two days though, so I'm expecting to get a positive tomorrow (or maybe I missed the surge?).
I broke down...

Yes ibuprofen is a no-no in pregnancy, especially in the third trimester because it can cause premature closure of the PDA (which should not close until baby is born and breathing on his own).

I don't really know anything about low oxalate diets, but I have some recommendations about how to get accurate health info from Google! I'm a nurse so I'm always trying to steer...
Great news @cyoung! Hope that means there's a little one in your near future :)
@nannster - sorry your last cycle was wonky and long, hope this month is better for you...I'm trying out OPKs as...

Another lurker here!...so happy for you @sunkissed!!...hope I get to join you all soon!
Congratulations @meyera! Sending sticky baby vibes :)
Fingers still crossed for you @nannster!
Well I'm out...Started cramping a bit last night and AF showed this morning.
Picked up some OPKs at the dollar store (I feel like such a weirdo buying them and pregnancy tests there, but I don't...
Nice that DH is on board @cyoung! fingers crossed for you :)
Couldn't resist and tested again this morning, another BFN. I'm not going to test again unless I miss AF this Thursday. Good luck this...
I caved and bought a two pack of First Response tests at the grocery store today cause they were on sale. I'm going to try and resist taking one tomorrow, but we'll see if I have the patience...
Like you @nannster, I got a big, fat, NEGATIVE this morning unfortunately! But it's still quite early for me too, and I used a cheapie test. The wait for Thursday is going to be *agony* so we can...
Any news @nannster?!
I'm feeling quite nauseous today. Can't tell if it's night shift pukeys or something else. Had an aversion to cottage cheese when I tried to eat some today and I wasn't able...
Congrats @larkspur! My understanding is that a positive test at any DPO is reliable but a negative is only trustworthy at 19 days after the sex in question.
My TWW is winding down, my period is...
Georgia is lovely with Ezra, my second choice would be Caroline!
@raptreverie I don't have an OB, I won't get referral to one until I'm pregnant (I'm in Canada, and typically GPs do most things unless you have a specific issue). I had an OB insert my IUD when I...
