I think both are fine. I personally prefer Lane. Layne looks like a unique spelling to me. However, if your husband is set on Layne I would use it.
I've loved the name Jesse since I was a little girl. However, I've heard a lot of people voice that it has become feminine with all the Jessica's and Jessie's. I don't think femininity is a bad...
I prefer Jude and Asa. However, I think Archer sounds best with Rex.

I absolutely love Calla. My second favorite would be Flora.
Im having this same struggle as Charlotte has been my favorite name since I was little. However, I thought that I would like to avoid at least the top 15. Now I am unsure.
I've seen a few people post about how Rose names are too common anymore. I know Rose, Rosemary, Rosa, & Rosalie are all in the top 1000. However, I don't know any little girls with this name....

Isaiah Silver. Isaiah Silver reminds me of what a romance author would name the main character in her book. It is a handsome name that brings to mind a strong, masculine guy. When he is a boy he will...

Both are handsome, but both have different feels for me. Caleb reminds me of a guy who likes being outside and working with his hands. Callum reminds me of a preppy guy who will grow up be to be a...
Thank you all. We decided on Charlotte Rosemary as our number 1 girl name as it honors two grandmas. However, I have been considering it reversed lately as I do love both names.
Poll: Which do you prefer?
Do you like Charlotte Rosemary or prefer the reversed Rosemary Charlotte? Both are family names, please tell me why you think one is better than the other. Thanks :)

I agree that theyre are a lot of Lucy's still a pretty name though. Maybe something like Lolly, Lola, or Lyla would suit her.
What would you name a female harlequin Great Dane? That looks something like this..
Thanks! I've just fallen in love with this name lately. Anyone else?
What are your general thoughts and opinions on Fiona? Also would you find it weird with a more common name like Charlotte, Caroline or Anna?
I'm also pondering Fiona. What do you think?
I think it is ok to use. Also, you may get your niece excited that her and her new baby cousin will share a name.
Which names would you add to this short list, or what names give you this same kind of vibe? Also which do you like best/least?
I much prefer Greer to Sloan, but the names go together nicely.
In order from favorite to least favorite. (All pretty names though!)
1.Lilian- Although it is popular it will always be one of my favorites.

I love Alice, and think it fits all three of those qualities!
I really like Adeline! It is pretty, and sounds sophisticated to me. My only drawback is that she may get lost in the sea of Addys..Adeline, Adelaide, Adele, Addison, Adalyn.
