I am curious to hear from people who love their own name.
What was it like growing up with the name?
What was/is it like as a teenager?
What was/is it like in the professional world?

Okay, I am 95% sure that I want to go with Violet Elaine.
As I've mentioned (several, ha) times before, Violet just 'feels' like my daughter.
When I hear that name I think of my little girl. ...
My top 4:
After that it gets harder, but one of these...
My favorite 10 out of your list:
Amelia (Millie) -- I like that Millie is less common, but I also still like Mia as a nn
Lily -- Love as a nn for Lillian
Sophie -- I like it, but prefer Sophia...
I do not 'hear' it because that one letter difference makes it a different word. I say the endings completely different. I say Violet 'Vy-let' as in 'let me help you.' I say violent 'vy-oh-lint' or...
