My newest character is a twenty-one-year-old single mother named Ella. I like the name, but I like it more as a nickname for a longer name. The only problem is I can't really find a long version that...
For my newest character in the making, I'm stuck between Winifred and Gwendolyn. Either way, her nickname is going to be Winnie. She's going to be named for her grandmother. She's in her early...

I love the name, but all I can think is "Delta Dawn, what's that flower you have on? Could it be a faded rose from days gone byyyyy?" But that song is so old that unless someone is a classic country...

My cousin and his wife are expecting their fourth child in a few months and it seems to me that they haven't got an original name in their heads! Their first son is named after my cousin's father,...
I need a really redneck-like name for my main character, a 13-yr-old girl. She's a very smart kid, being raised in a Southern trailer park by her father and uncle (two men very loosely based on the...

When I was 12, my most favorite name was Melanie. I think it was because I hero worshipped an older girl at my church with that name. I thought she was SO COOL.
