Oh God - I hadn't even thought of the French Fancies! Definitely not Kipling, then!
Thanks for the suggestions, I really like most of them but the hard part is finding something that's not too...

So the search continues for a possible brother for Leonard and Juliet (he's almost exclusively Leo, she's occasionally Lettie or Rosy - don't ask!). We tend to stick to classic-with-a-twist names...

Anyone else with other thoughts?
I don't think your mother's opinion on a name matters in the slightest.
How do you say Irenes? Maharet is so pretty and exotic.
I agree it has gorgeous imagery but a bit too unusual or 'wordy' for a person.
I feel the same about Loveday. Sigh.

Hmm... I'm not sure. At the time it was pretty much the only boys name we loved and could both agree on, so we probably would have used it all the same. But I doubt if we'd already known a Leo we...
These are all so pretty! I love Behati Violet and Behati Charlotte best.
nn Hattie is so sweet :)

Thanks for the reply! I personally pronounce Juliet/Juliette exactly the same and so do our French family/friends, Juliet is just well-recognized in France as the English spelling without changing...

Madeline is lovely!
I have a Leonard (who was born in France, officially he's Léonard but that just didn't translate in the UK... bless him, I didn't know how it would complicate things for him...

So excited to start TTC for #3 later this year, and interested in your thoughts on our current list (some old, some new - they need to work in both French and English)...
Abigail, Benjamin and Claudia
Haha, me too - I always find the confusion with accents and pronunciation on here funny. It would be great if there was a voice-record system!
I wouldn't use Bali unless I had a direct link to...
Me and DH have quite opposing cultural views on this - in the UK, it's fairly 'trendy' and the thing that pretty much all parents seem to be doing. My friends were baby-led-weaning their own babies...

They're all over the place in France (and across Europe really, except the UK), we have a few - bought one before DS was born, and every time we left him with DH's relatives as a baby he'd acquire a...

Thank you for all the feedback and suggestion! Looks like Annabel Sixtine has come out on top, which DH will be thrilled with since it's his top choice atm. I was expecting Dulcie Sixtine to be...

Just trying to form a firm top 5 for a possible baby #3! She'd be half French and a little sister for Leonard Cyrille and Juliet Sylvia Perrine. Surname is 1 syllable (and not specifically French or...

DC turned two recently, and is particularly slim as well. We upped his avocado intake which thankfully he loves, and noticed a bit of a change but honestly I've given up worrying.
He is just...
Thanks for all the feedback!
Rafael, Cosmo and Bruno are my preferences at the minute, whilst DH is rooting for Sebastian.
Any suggestions you'd add to our list?
This week we had...
In the supermarket with Leo ''lets get... lets get... lets get... lets get gin mummy!''. I was mortified. My 2 year old making out that I have an alcohol problem in a crowded...
I think I found this thread a bit late, but me and DH will be TTC around April/May. Our last was only born in September, but one of my biggest regrets is the 2 year age gap between her and her...

That's what I was leaning towards too, but the Rafaela spelling has a rather stream-lined appeal.
It just suddenly occurred to me, plus it has the same international and romantic feeling as Leonard...

Thanks for the combo suggestions, Olivia and Sorceress. I hadn't really thought about how many middle names we'd use next - Juliet only has Sylvia and Perrine in the middle for honouring reasons and...

Thank you for the suggestions - I haven't run them through with DH (honestly he's practically ignoring my questions regarding names at the minute) but as far as I'm concerned Isaline and Odile are...
[girls' thread - http://nameberry.com/nametalk/threads/144317-Collecting-for-number-3-little-sister-for-Leo-and-Juliet]
Back again, Berries! We'll be TTC again later this year and I'm already...
