I think it's important to leave a bit of the infant daughter's own birth name and not use her older sister's. It is part of her identity, even if it isn't your style, and may be important to her to...

For goodness sake, this cattiness is ridiculous. This has gone way past sharing a nice personal opinion into some pretty cold remarks.
(And for the original poster, I am apparently in the...
Charlotte is my fave with your last name, then followed by Violet. But Charlotte V!ckory is gorgeous!
Michelle is my middle name and I've never really cared for it. It's kind of plain and seems very 70's to me. I think Eve is a much lovelier option with your sibset.

I love unisex/boy names on girls!
Caroline (is a form of Charles - Charlie or Oli/Ollie)
Ivy Aurelia Blythe
Ivy Lou Matilda
I like a nickname based off her initials M.E. (Emme, Emmy)
Unless it's your close family, I'd use the name that you love! Quite frankly, there is no guarantee that both of your families will always live in your small town, and even if you do it's really no...

Yes, Callie is definitely a great nickname for Caroline!
From your list i like: Grace Catherine, Grace Evaline and Grace Emerson

I love it spelled Norah.
In case it helps: We tend to like traditional or old-fashioned names that still sound fresh. Not against double names either.
We've decided on Caroline if the baby we're adopting ends up being a girl. We're approved for up to two children though, so if twins become available when we are at the top of the wait list there is...
I really like Lucy & Lucia. Lucy in the book series you mention is a wonderful character full of courage, integrity and faith.

Anastasia Ever - though I would prefer Anastasia Eve
I would go with Anneliese. It's lovely.
The others may be harder with having to constantly correct people on pronunciation or spelling, and I personally don't find them as appealing. Pegwin...

I think it's mainly: birth/adoption announcements, graduations, wedding invitations, government forms & monograms. Most of the time it will be first and last names only. If you can imagine it on...
There are a lot of Christians named Esther that I know. They don't use a nickname. Another version is Aster, which I think is lovely, especially if you like floral or nature names.
Sure it wasn't spelled Dorcas? That's a biblical name, though a rather unfortunate sounding one in our society!
My mom used to work at a hospital and when she went to do lab work on a maternity...
I would go with either just Faith or just Hope for the middle. What about Vivienne Marie (honor your mom's name).

Wow! Those are my 2 favorite girls' names :). Here there are more Grace's than Caroline's, though you never hear either one as a first name. We're in the midwest. What general area of the country...
