Brianna, Breanne, Brie, Brian,... something about names that start with "Br" sounds cheesy to me. The only exception is Brees, as in Drew. ;)
I am Catholic and teach at a Catholic high school... I think the former "rule" (which was really just a strong tradition, not a dogmatic requirement) is definitely relaxed and most Catholic children...
