1. Melody: I've always liked this name! I see it as a spunkier alternative to Melanie and love the musical association.
2. Annalise: Love the name, but ditto a pp in much preferring the spelling...

August and Augustine
I have a tendency to like fuller names as given names with nicknames given after (that way people can revert to the full name later in life if they want), and I adore the way Samuel nn Sam parallels...
I love Madeline, especially spelled Madeleine. It is a common name, but all the Madeline's I've known have been wonderful people, which only makes me like it more. I also really like it pronounced...

I definitely think that as far as first names, Juniper goes best with Auria and Waverly. My favorite combo is Juniper Zelda--spunky and cute. I like it better than Juniper Storm because Juniper and...

Scarlett Rosalind Green is a perfect suggestion, I think. Rosalind is a form of Rose, so it could still honor your husband's great grandmother. I agree that it would be a little strange to have a...

I read this series--the whole thing. I ADORED the first three, but felt that the series went down from there and only read the rest out of a feeling of obligation to finish it out. :( I like Soren,...

I love Piper, and it definitely does not make me think of smoking! Like a pp, it makes me think of a piper as in someone who plays the instrument, which has a musical association and to me a really...

Victoria Rios and Henley Oscar in nearby-ish cities (sort of). I couldn't find any announcements for my own city.

I guess I'm in the minority but I slightly prefer Caia. (Even though I do like Kaia as well.) Kaia gives me a sportier vibe while Caia seems classier somehow. Caia Elizabeth is absolutely gorgeous!

Johanna I say Jo-Hannah because of the spelling.
Elena is weird for me because I only know one girl in real life with this name and she pronounces it uh-lenn-uh, like it were spelled Elenna. So...
Say: hi kids!
Think: Love Cecily and Max, but I've never liked Vera.
This is my daughter Cordelia Faye.
Say: Hi kids! Nice to meet you!
Think: these names are t my style personally, but Aria Winter is wonderfully sophisticated and fairy-tale-like at the same time. It's by far my favorite of the three....

I really like Lucy Katherine (Katharine Lucy was a long time favorite of mine :)). With Claire I like Lucy, Madeline, and Lillian best.
I would pair Madeline, Lillian, and Evelyn with Kathleen;...

I have to completely agree with you on loving Margot and Elsa best! (Aside from the original Elizabeth, which is my favorite.) Those are probably my two favorite variations--at least definitely in...
Maeve Eleanor or Maeve Amelia. They flow better than Maeve Juliet I think. I like the way Maeve Amelia sounds better but prefer Eleanor to Amelia individually.
I love Violet. It's definitely my favorite V name. Feminine and spunky, and I love the nn Vi. Viola is charming too. I really like Verity, and Veronica is on my middle name list. I also like...
