Funny, because that's precisely what I didn't like about that combo. Luna is such a gentle name that I couldn't bear putting it with a name as sharp as Margaret.

These are all great but my favorite is hands-down Cressida Marigold - very warm, lovely, bright!

I love both Arden and Odette but I can't get on board with Elowen. It makes me think of Lord of the Rings.

Ariel would be THE name to be both mythical and poetic to me.
Thalia (or any of the muses)
Juno and Maeve are incredibly perfect!

I thought this was a genuine topic and what a great topic it would have been to discuss! Also a great anagram game but still :P I had my hopes high for a second!
I love Demeter, prefer Demetra/Demetria and Damaris is nice/probably the most wearable of the three.

Even with the accents, most of these names are perfectly fine! I'm particularly fond of Benoit.

You sound like a Courtney to me!
Okay....I'm short with short brown hair, glasses. Geeky, sweet, stubborn and idealistic. I like doing tarot readings, stunt-work (especially fight scenes,...

Hazel Persephone! What a gorgeous name :)

Can we have a thread to appreciate how well-named are the children on HIMYM? First Marvin Wait-for-It Eriksen, now tonight's episode revealed that Ted's kids are named Penny and Luke!

I think Tabitha is a great name! She would fit in with the Matildas and Penelopes and comes with the great nickname of Tabby (or Tibby, but I like Tabby).
I thought of the character on HIMYM....Trudy was already unappealing to me as a sort of 'dowdy' version of Judy but now I really don't like it after the Pineapple Incident. Although the actress was...
I thought this was Alexandra when I read the title fast.
It's not a great middle name but it is still mine :)
I wish I had a better middle name. Parents, give your baby berries great full names so they don't have to be conflicted like me. They'll find another excuse to be conflicted.
yes, this is for university and I apparently have a choice of name to decide "how it will appear on your diploma".
An odd title and not exactly related to baby names but to twenty-some years later when those names don't belong to babies. Inspired by the application for degree paperwork in my hand, I find myself...

What a wonderfully named little girl!

I've been picking names since I was seven and I am fairly confident that I will never have children. I just love names.
Oooh! What great names...what a corundum! Both are fantasticly uncommon but I'm going to go with Petra on this one. She sounds a like a spunky, literary heroine of the best stories.
I know an absolutely terrific girl named Pandora and she gave me a high level of awesome/respect for those named Pandora. I probably wouldn't use it, but I love it when people do.
Roxanne and Vera are fantastic! So are Sylvie, Edith and Winnie...therein lies the question.
Personally, I really like Winnie but I like it as a nickname, perhaps for Winifred? Sylvie is nice...
I find I am really liking Saffron - it has a distinctive flair that other nature names tend to mellow over.
