I also would suggest Sylvie.
Good luck! Sophie would make a lovely middle name, btw. And, if it helps, while I have met loads of Sophias,...
I like Huck, but I don't love it with your last name. Hu-- Hu---- is too repetitive (in my opinion). Sorry!
It looks like lots of other fabulous H names have been suggested...I especially like...

Haven is very pretty, but I prefer Lillie (well, Lily).
Maybe you'd both like:
I think you should choose a first name you're BOTH in love with! Haven would...

Edith Autumn (sister to Elsie Violet)
Marcus Hendrik (brother to Aubrey, Eden, and Benjamin)
Ewan Asa Paul
Gabriel Derek John
Lily Adelaide is absolutely sweet.
I think that Lily and Myles, from your signature, would go together very well as siblings. Even better than Mason.

All three are gorgeous! But with Romilly, I love Flora best of all.

I was about to vote for Ronan, and then saw that one of your sons is named Owen. I think that Ronan and Owen are too similar in sound for brothers.
I love Cormac for you...it has a wonderful,...
I think that Belle Marguerite is just stunning. Ivy and Belle sound perfect together as sisters.
My second favourite is Anouk (though I think Belle sounds better when paired with Marguerite).
Journey and Elise feel very, very different to me. I feel that a Journey might have sisters named Haven, or Zinnia, or Winter, or Verity, and an Elise might have sisters named something more classic...

I love Jasper, such a fantastic name. But I don't love the repeated -er ending sounds with Jasper and Parker. Especially because they are both 2 syllables. Jasper Parker. Not a deal breaker, but...

Anika Ivy grabbed my attention straightaway. It's lovely, unique (but not at all weird), classy, and strong. (I get neither Star Wars, nor strippers from it.)
My runner-up choice is Ivy Abigail....
With Jasper, I picture a smart, cheeky little boy. Adventurous, a good sense of humour, a little mischievous.

I think (though I am a little biased on this, being a Claire) that Claire goes splendidly with your son's name. Both his name, and Claire both have that cosy-classic feel.
Claire Felicity is...
Between Joshua and Nicholas, I definitely prefer Joshua (and, I prefer Josh to Nick). Joshua sounds sweet, smart, and handsome. A soft, yet strong name, much like Collin. I think Joshua Ryan would be...

Maren, Sylvie, Paloma, Edie, Leonie, and Valentina are my favourites from your list. Several of these end in -ie, which I wouldn't use together in the same set.
So, how about....
Harken is alright. But if you want something distinctive, it seems strange that you are considering something so similar to something that has already been used in your family (Haven). That being...

I agree with apollonia. Perhaps scheduling a name-deciding day makes the process less fun and creative, and more forced and stressful.
The only name I can think of that might appeal to you both...

I doubt anyone would notice...children definitely wouldn't.
Phoebe Vivienne is lovely, btw.

@ emsky - I LOL'ed at "I don't much care for Fred or Rick, which is practically the entire name". I actually can't stand Rick, but I think that Freddie or Fred are far more likely as nicknames. Even...

I completely agree with greyer on this.
I really like Luna and Aurora together - great names for sisters (regardless of whether or not they are twins).
Sabrina Rose "Bri"
Evangeline Clare - but I think Clare Evangeline sounds best

Desmond is a great name, and Julian really does seem like the most intuitive and logical choice.
Maybe your mum has a favourite singer, or a favourite place that you could use as a middle name?...
Arthur was the first name to come to my mind as well.
Or, perhaps you would like...

@ ccomp12 - you definitely hit the nail on the head with "soap-opera-y". I've been thinking about that all afternoon! I love Desmond, but out of the five names on our list, it isn't my #1. Desmond...
