My scrambled name: niaeiablsteznchtaymhr
My preferred first name: Calanthe
I love many of your favorites!
He just asked if I like Imogen Vesper. I do, but I pointed out that it has religious connotations which aren't relevant to us. He says that Vesper was the name of a street in a video game that he...
I like Lilia a lot. I wouldn't choose it personally because there are sooo many Lily/Lilly/Lillian names in use right now, but it's really nice to hear one that's a bit different. Charlotte is...
I like the consonant heavy Imogen and Rosamund with Clementine. Sparrow works well too. Leone isn't bad, but not my favorite. Soleil feels very wispy next to substantial Clementine.
I like Imogen Romilly, Imogen Claire and Imogen Ruby a lot. He loves Ruth, but I'm the one that's not a fan. I have a bad association with it. I guess I could make an exception though since Imogen...
I agree with this completely. My 8 year old niece's name is Sophia Kristine and hates being called Sophie. She prefers the full Sophia or just Phia. I think it's nice to give kids names that provide...
I thought of Agnes (ag-ness) as a quintessential fusty old lady name for the longest until I met a little girl with the name. It's not one I'd use personally, but I enjoy hearing it on others.
Just heard Isa while watching HGTV pronounced eye-suh.
I have to choose Phoebe Agnes because I used to have a kitty named Agnes. :-) Great name!
I think I'm better off saying which ones I don't like, Heather and Senna. That's it! I love flower names which is kind of ironic since I have a black thumb. lol
I prefer Annika. It just looks the best to my eye and sounds better than Annina in my opinion.
Ramona, Theodore, and Emmeline sound great together. Phoebe feels out of place to me. Probably because she has less syllables and no obvious nickname.

Emma feels insubstantial. Emmeline is great.

Penny Alice Evelyn is my favorite. I'd stay away from a first that has an L in it personally as it feels like a mouthful with Alice Evelyn in the middle.
I'm not expecting and probably won't be until sometime next year. However, my husband has confessed to me that I've said Imogen so much over the past few years that the name already feels like part...
Such lovely names! Congratulations!

I'm not totally convinced it's unusable yet, but I worry about Azalea and it being associated with Iggy Azalea.
I chose Iris because it has a wonderful association for me. There's nothing much prettier than a huge bed of irises in full bloom. I also love the mythology of the name and the meaning.
Ivy is just...
Rose Lucille and Rose Cecilia are lovely!
My top two at this very moment are...
Clementine Wren - The initials of CW are significant because they used to be my first and last initials before I got married and are my father's,...
I'm so glad you all unanimously agree that Azalea is still very usable and not strongly associated with Iggy Azalea. It's a beautiful name with a wonderful association for me. I hope I get to use it...
