It is amazing how close one can feel to a person they've never met, I have no words for my sorrow. My heart goes out to Rowan, her father, and all who knew Blair personally.
Thank you so much for...

I'm the same way, I think I could easily name 10 boys, and totally enjoy the process of it. With girls for some reason I completely struggle.
My best friend is Katrina nn Trina! I love the idea of Kit for it too. Her sisters are named
Erin (poor girl, only one w/out a 'k' somewhere)
Adelia Josephine Ann... How about:
I vote for Ellis!
Phaedra is my niece's middle name, and people compliment my sister on it all the time! I say go for it!
Ellis and Sterling would be my top two of your options.

I have to say I wasn't in love with my son's name...his father fell in love with it after I had a dream in which the baby had the name, and it was almost impossible to get him to even discuss any...
Gideon nn Ian (same issue with differently spelled nn, though)
Ezekiel nn Zeke
Silas nn Si
Ephraim nn Remy
Ebenezer nn Eben
Dean has always felt very abrupt to me. I love Gideon, that definitely gets my vote!
You could use letters from their names to create one. Jude would be the first two letters of each of their names, which could be a nice tribute.
The only Aurelia I know goes by Rory. I think it's just what felt right for her parents, but it works for them.

A few boy ideas...

My maternal grandparents are Grandmom and Bapu, when I was a toddler I started calling him that and it stuck for all the grandchildren. My paternal grandparents were Bumma (no idea where that came...
My vote goes to Ingrid Adele!
Family names for me, as well. The significance of the middle names is more important to me than the flow, so long as the first and last together have good rhythm.

I would have been Ian, which I like well enough but probably wouldn't choose myself. We're I ever to have changed my name it would have been to Emmeline, seemingly not so different from my given name...

Omen. I met a little boy with the name a few years ago and it has haunted me ever since. I will never understand how parents could name their child this.
Gordon is my son's first middle name, after my grandfather, and anytime people hear me say it they always tell me how handsome and distinguished it sounds.
Dashiell was my first thought.

There are four Prestons in my family, starting with my great-grandfather. There are also 3 Evans, the youngest of which is a girl. The first, another great-grandfather, was named after his aunt,...
