I like it. In Germany it's definitely not dated and I know several. Car-lot is definitely not something that comes to mind but then I do say ka- instead if car-.
I think it's the prettiest...
I'm not sure if you're looking for other names to add to this "B list" but I find the names in your signature as well as Jonah's name to be very classic while the names on your list, save Bea, seem...
I prefer Othello but I've never been a big fan of Andrew or it's inevitable nn Andy. It's one of those names that definitely fit anyone, like Michael, William, John, but it is a tad too boring for my...

I don't think that the Clintons will influence the rise or fall of Charlotte heavily. It has always (or for a while) been a relatively popular/common name but somehow I doubt that it will top the...
Ideas (they're not very good but still):
Rosanna Iris / Rosanna Skye instead of syllable/emphasis repetitive Rosannah Janina
Adeline Flora instead of Adeline Lindy
Adelaide Cara ...
I prefer Indre for English speakers as Manon's pronunciation will get butchered even from those who try to pronounce it the French way.
Indre Manon Vesper sounds beautiful!
I much prefer Zoe Olivia.

Which names do you think of as obnoxious?
Not just trendy or made-up but names that you view as bad because of their obvious meaning or usage?
For me that would be title names such as Prince or...

I say Ef-ra-eem.
Love it! It's pretty popular here in Germany, definitely more than any longer form and whenever I hear it on a little boy it's a bit too "boring" for me however when I imagine it on my own...

For a girl it's Ophelia. Yes, it has a bad association but it's a minor one for me, especially since it's fiction.
For a boy the name's Elliott. It could shoot up to number 1 and I'd still use it...
So I thought about Ophelia combos...again.
I could not seem to find one I really like, then my mum mentioned her grandmothers a while ago and how they were called Emmy and Charlotte.

5.Charlie- as a standalone for boys
With Aaron I prefer Olivia or Juliet. I LOVE Ophelia but especially with this spelling of Juliet as a middle name, the combo is very tragic and also a bit too grand (too much of a name) with simple...
Especially since Castiel from Supernatural is the only link we got to the name, I don't think it would work on a girl.
(since stealing my dvds and watching Supernatural, my brother says that one...

Ophelia Emma Charlotte (I actually have no idea about middle names but I do like these two)
Elliott Arthur Frederick (same thing here)

I'm not a fan simply because it sounds the same as Emanuel when I say it in German. In English there is more of a difference, the last syllable is stretched and a clear elle. I think I agree with a...
I'm sure it won't be a problem for her peers but I have feeling we will be judged quite harshly if we use it?
That depends on your friends, would they associate the name Paris with Hilton before the...

Eleanor. I also love Eleonora which is why Eleanora looks a bit like a misspelling to me!
