My cousins granddaughter: Alexa Marie born February 2013
I was just watching a "Forensic Files" episode and one of the men interviewed was named Bridger. I kinda like it...
I also have a friend (her 80's) whose has a brother whose middle name Badgett...
My favorites are:
Lindsey Katherine (though I prefer Catherine)
Richard Michael and Stephen Michael (my uncles...S died either right before or right after birth in 1947)
Kelli Jo and Christopher Jay (late 30's early 40's)
Christy and Jana (late...
My favorite boy name is Houston Callahan...no specific reason other than I just like the way it flows.
A friend of mine is in the process of adopting a baby whose given name was Solomon (unknown middle name) Hunt. Once all is a said and done his name will be Solomon Hunter (with new last name).
I don't blame the poster for being defensive. He was simply asking for suggestions for name for him unborn baby, that, if I'm not mistaken, he said was a surprise. I think it's admirable for them to...
A family friend has two granddaughters named Kayleigh and Rayleigh...they are cousins NOT twins. They are fairly close in age. If it doesn't bother the perspective parents, then I say "go for it"
I do not have any children, I am not pregnant nor do I plan to be anytime soon. I'm simply curious about something I see alot throughout many of posts...the use of or desire to use nicknames. I am...

What a neat post idea!!!
I was born in 1970, so my 'kid' names are (to me anyway) kinda dated: I remember thinking Nancy, Leslie and Maureen were just beautiful. I don't remember any boy names,...
I agree...Ellie can be used just as is, but if your set on using it as a nickname, I like the suggestion of Ellison. (and, for what it's worth, I really like Samantha from your husbands list! :D )
If you prefer the pronunciation RISE, I personally think that's how it should be spelled. Changing the pronunciation of a recognizable name, is, in my opinion asking for a lifetime of having to...
While it's not my style, I do think it sounds classy and strong. May I suggest Josephine Camille?
My vote is for Lila Paige, with Lila Grace being 2nd runner up.
What about a compromise with one from your veto list and one from his veto list...I personally think Lacey Blair has a nice ring to it.

I know a Rex Allen...he goes by Allen, since he's a "Jr." and his dad goes by Rex.

I like both of them...how about Corbin Reece? I think it flows well.

Have you considered using one from his "I love" list and one from your "I love" list...I think Griffin Cole or Tanner Dean sound nice, among a few others.
However, I will add that of all of the...

I LOVE my name...Kimberly Renee. My daddy picked it. What I do not like is the fact that people just assume it's OK to call me KIM, which I absolutely despise! I don't care that your aunt, cousin,...

I, too, am sorry for your loss. I'm with the others, if YOU want to use his surname, do it!! However, maybe your mom might be a bit more accepting/understanding if you hyphenated the names???? But...

I can't imagine using that for a child (though I think a Spice Girl did)...even as a middle name. Bluebell might work well for a pet, I would personally steer clear if it for a baby.

I think it's a very pretty name...I think it's quite 'do-able' in real life!!! I have a cousin named Anna-Lesa, which I also like.
Stella Blair is nice, but not my style.
Libby Grace is nice, but a bit too 'cutesy' for me...like someone else mentioned, I, too, prefer Elizabeth Grace. I think Elizabeth is a good strong name and...
I absolutely love the name Jack, but don't really care for Jackson. I know a Jack Ryan (he's in his 30's and his dad is also Jack)and one of my high school classmates has a son named Jack (not sure...

I'd say the 'weirdest' name in my family is my cousin, Skeeter. Yes, that is his given, typed-on-his-birth-certificate, name. He has a son named Cimarron Blaze. Another cousin just had a baby and,...
