My thoughts exactly.
Although getting past that I do like it.
Say: Hi kids, how are you?
Think: Heath is gorgeous by Caius doesn't float my boat at all.
Hi, this is my daughter. Her name is Jasmine Grace. We named her after my sister, Yasmin.

First of all, love your concept. I'd love to read the end result when you're done.
For the protagonist, my first thought is Eliza or Rose. She reminds me of the song Where The Wild Roses Grow.
Thanks guys - sleeping on it I like Shaun better too.

I like them all except Solomon. I feel like a teacher would come from a previous generation when it was perfectly ok to have four or five Jason's in the same class. I'd give him a more traditional...
While I'd never use it, I really don't have a problem with Apple. I think it's sweet. Like, she'd the apple of her daddy's eye.

I love April, but I've voted November because I think that's very wearable as well.
I'm about to finish one book, and start another, and I'm trying to narrow down my options for character names. I've got two guy names, and two girl names. I write romantic/erotic fiction, so...

I agree with you... I know that eventually we have to learn to let our kids do things on their own, but I also think 9 in a bit too young. 12 maybe. Double digits at least. To me it feels like the...
Say: Hi Indy, hi Wendy.
Think: I don't know where she got those nicknames from those names. They're cute though.
Hi I'm Holly, and this is my boyfriend Noah.

Catherine, Aurora, and Imogen
Catherine, Aurora, and Florence
Catherine, Aurora, and Elizabeth.
I also think Evangeline would be a good fit :)
Say: Hi kids, how are you?
Think: matching initials annoy me at the best of times, but three X's? Just, no.
These are my daughters, Alice Ann and Isla Claire.

I think you've got three good solid choices there. I know Avery is popular, but I think if the name has meaning to you then you shouldn't let popularity scare you off using it. Meaning is more...
Say: - Hi Celestia, Hi Everett
Think - Do they have nicknames?
These are my twins, Rory and Evangeline.

Xynon is awful. Isn't it the name of the evil alien that Scientologists believe in? I don't know, but it makes me think of that.
TBH I don't love Ryker, but I like it a lot better than Xynon.
Say: Well hi girls, how are you?
Think: Ivy is lovely. Celestia is pretty, but a bit too frou frou. I think I'd rather Celeste.
Hi, this is my sister, Lara.
I love Eve. It's a winner for me. So pretty and simple, and if you believe the Bible then Eve is mother to us all, and who doesn't love their mum?

Charlie. Don't get me wrong, I think it's very nice as a nickname. For Charles. Maybe Charlotte at a stretch. But as a name on it's own, I just don't get it's appeal.
And surnames as first names....

Well I already have Evelyn Heather and Callum Richard.
So I'd add Alice Lillian and Owen William to the list :)
1. The Day You Come - Powderfinger
2. Chemical Heart - Grinspoon
3. No Man's Land - Something For Kate
4. Dark Side Of Love - Birds Of Tokyo
5. Buttons - Josh Pyke
6. Stranger Things Have...
We had the same trouble... we picked Callum's name three weeks before he arrived. In the end he wrote a list, I picked my favourite from it, and I didn't let him debate it anymore because it was on...
