In no particular order and no compromising with the spouse.

Looking for names that evoke the night sky (moon, stars, etc.) with their meaning or feel, but that aren't too out there. Subtle if you will. Orion feels a bit overkill, for example. Boys and girls...

I just wish there was an option that was a bit spunkier and not so classic but still anglosaxon sounding. I like the spunk of Luna and love its relation to the night sky. The idea of Ruby is brushing...

I've been liking María lately for a baby girl. Our family is from Spain and the US. I'd love a middle/double barrel first name that screams American so that on her resumé her bicultural...
I wonder what nonberries would think? Granola haha. Or granny name.

Sorry, but I much prefer Florence or Francis. Flor just feels too old lady to me. I do love Cora and Nora so I don't know why I feel so differently about Flor.. I guess I just can't imagine a baby or...
Nola just came onto my radar. I think it could tick rhe boxes for me as sweet, simple (to spell and pronounce), and unexpected.
What is your initial opinion on the name? Will it age well? Is the...
What are y'alls thoughts on María? For a littlw girl growing up in Spain and the US, is it bland? Or is it like Jane in that it is kind if refreshingly simple?
I would usually vote for the most common spelling, but I have fallen in love with the more modern-looking, streamlined, nordic Elinor. It's in my top three for a soon to TTC#2.
how are you pronouncing Thea? Because I love the look of Thea María, but I want to pronounce it Thee-uh and it kind of rhymes with Maria, right?
It helps a lot! I love this answer :) Thank you.
Shortly going to be TTC#2. Big brother is Oliver Mateo and we have a bilingual/bicultural Spanish and American family. Which would you choose from my short-ish list? Thanks in advance!

What about Tobias James? Sounds very handsome to me and similar to Elias in your signature.

Oh I love Everett, Simon, River and Sebastian. With the girls, I feel drawn to slightly less girly names, but Florian is interesting. I've been considering Fiona/Ona lately, which feels similar.

I think if we had to choose today our compromise name would be Adrian! Too funny.
I would choose Theo in a heartbeat but we have a cousin with that name :( Maybe I can convince the spouse to go...

I'm in a very similar boat as you. Here are some that I have on my list that I feel work in spanish and internationally.
Irene (spanish pronunciation)...
I love Hadley! To me Marlowe feels trendy and makes Hadley feel trendier bringing it down a notch, sorry. Love Quinn but I think Violet matches with Hadley better. Id save Quinn for Hadley's brother.

What boy combo and girl combo would you choose for a bro and sis to Oliver Mateo?
Bilingual household so we chose one more Spanish name and one more English name. We also like nature,...
Thanks all! I had never thought of Bowen and I like Bodhi, Boden and Broderick. I'm not sure they have enough international ease to appeal to my husband and our bilingual household but I am going to...
TTC#2 in a few months and I am crushing hard on Beau lately. I just know my husband won't go for it though. Can you suggest any longer more formal names that could get me Beau as a nickname?? Bonus...
I think it is adorable, but I think everyone might say WIIIIILLSON when they see him. Take it from someone with a family member named Forrest that still gets Run Forrest Run anytime he moves... those...

I am really loving Thea, but somehow it feels a little incomplete. Can you think of any names that could have the nickname Thea?
I'd like to avoid anything over the top because my...
