I have a Theodore Henry! He goes by Theo.
What about Atlas as a middle? Or if you like Jack but feel its to common use it as a middle?
Theodore, easy choice for me. Theodore Harris is a great suggestion!

These may not be crusty enough but these spring to mind -
Augustus or Augustine are crusty but I'm guessing you're not keen on two A names.
I love Henry but given its so popular I'd avoid it. I do think Wesley is a handsome name!
Oliver Thomas! Jack is too common for me.
Leo (I do like Leopold)
Tate or Tatum (I pick neither, they don't seem to fit with the others)
Theodore (I'm biased but our Theodore goes by Theo)
Ooh, I quite like Ignatius too. Iggy and Nate are cute. But are Augustus and Ignatius too similar?
Some great suggestions, thanks berries. I've always been fond of Abraham nn Abe but my husband is not on board! Cornelius or Constantine are interesting, what would the nicknames be?
Simon Frank, but I do like Pete as a nickname for Peter.
We're expecting baby number 3 in August, my guess is it'll be a boy. Can you please inspire me as we're stuck for names. We talk about Francis (nn Fred), Frederic (nn Fred) and Solomon (nn Sol or...
Augustus, but I'm biased! Here in Australia people assume Gus is a nn for Angus.

Camillus, great boys name. It happens to be the name of P L Travers son (Mary Poppins author). It's Roman.
Great suggestions. I like Alfred nn Alfie but my husband is not keen. If we were to use Frankie as a nn we'd use Francis as the first name. But I do think Theo, Gus and Frankie work.
Solomon nn Sol...
I agree Max sounds like a great fit but it's rather popular here in Australia.
Sebastian is another good idea but I'm not a fan of Seb or bastian.
I'll give some thought to the other suggestions,...
I'm still on the hunt for a name that grabs me for what I assume will be our third boy. We have two sons Theo (Theodore Henry) and Gus (Augustus Jack).
We are looking for a name that has a...
Francis is on our short list for baby number 3, he'd inevitably be called Frank here in Australia. It's warming on me. I think I prefer Frank over Francis but hubby is keen to honour the Pope so...

Neale, while it's not my favourite name it has the best flow.
Felix - happy, fortunate
Hugo - mind, intellect
Those are the two that first come to mind. I love Abraham!
Good luck with Frederick!
I'm quite fond of the name Clarence, will think about it some more.
This post has been great. I think either Francis (nn Frank) or Solomon (nn Sol) are firming as...
Well I have a an Augustus nn Gus so I don't think it's too unusual. We did hope to call him Augie but Gus stuck early on. So people assume his full name is Angus (we're in Australia). Sometimes I...
Thanks all, great input. Looks like the field is split. I have to say that the lack of nickname option for Felix is my biggest reservation.
While I like Frederic, here in Australia he'd inevitably...
