I've seen kids made fun of for their names, but it was always kids that were picked on anyway. Popular kids with the same name had no problems, and I knew a lot of popular kids with unusual names who...
I have a sometimes-crush on this name, and am wondering what impressions others have of it?

You'll probably have to rule out any name that defaults to pink on this site and sick with those that default to yellow or blue. That's probably limiting, but just looking through the thread, Emerson...

Maybe it's just me, but all the names in the thread title seem misspelled to me. My brain immediately wants to correct them to Orrin, Orson, and Olan, which makes me like all of the names. With the...
I like all of these, just wanting to see in numbers what others like the best.
Right now I'm crushing on Clementine and Leone (Lee-own), but I've also considered Clementine and Sparrow, or...

When I picture naming my future kids, I can easily picture Clementine or Artemis on girls, but would they work on sisters, or am I pretty much limited to one or the other?
Can you describe what...

I love love these names, but Ezra is the name of a character I hate on Pretty Little Liars, and it's beginning fairly popular, so I might have to shelve that for a while.
August is gorgeous, and I...
Something you may want to be aware of is that the douchey guys who haunt the internet complaining about the friendzone and proclaim themselves "men's rights activists," make rape jokes, and draw My...
There are literally thousands of girl names, yet people keep stealing from the boys to name their girls.

Where I live there is an overabundance of -ayden names. Kayden, hayden, bayden, blayden (seriously), jayden, raiden, paydin, zayden...I swear every other boy you meet is named one of these and I'm...
I love the name Clementine, but my family thinks it's ridiculous. They can't get past the fruit. Personally, I think the fruit just adds to the whimsy of the name.
My little sister works for a...
I think I must lean towards subtly hippie/nature words, because Clementine has the obvious fruit reference, even though it's an actual name with a separate naming, and Sparrow is a bird, and Xanthe...
I've mentioned on here before how I have trouble finding sibling names that I feel "fit" with Clementine, but I think I've found one I love: Sparrow.
It has two perks for me: the first is that my...
I am a massive fan of autumn. I love the leaves changing colors, the crispness to the air, wearing boots and sweaters, the smell of smoke from fireplaces, pumpkins making an appearance in everything...
I think Lily Kate Hudson sounds gorgeous! I'm not fond of the Lilly spelling at all, though; Lily looks gorgeous to me while Lilly just looks silly.
It looks to me like a misspelling of Olan? They both sound the same, so Olan sounds like a much more pronouncable choice, to me.

The girl names I love are all very "within current trends but not currently trendy" and I like a few boy names that fit in that (Ezra, August, etc. But these are slightly mite popular than I am...
I have to disagree with previous posters
"Jem and the Holograms, which was a very popular cartoon".....um, yeah, almost 30 years ago! It's not even on Netflix or anything for people to still have...
To be honest, I don't drink, never have, and none of my family/friends drink, and I've never even been to a bar...But my first immediate association is to know that Mimosa is a cocktail. I didn't...
Names make me roll my eyes or laugh or feel sad for the kid or indignant that the parent chose something so ugly, but anger isn't an emotion I even associate with names. I'm name obsessed, but at the...

Meh, it seems kind of like you liked a letter but couldn't think of a name that started with that letter. You can always give him an actual middle, and use the initial, as another poster said.
I love the names Cassidy and Ezra and Noel
But I watched Veronica Mars, and I currently watch Pretty Little Liars, and these are names of villainous shady characters within the shows.

Wouldn't it be a bit odd to have two kids named heavenly/religious sort of names, and then one named after the queen of the underworld?

I love round letters. B, C, O, R, etc. And dislike letters with straight lines, like X and K.
It makes my list a bit more challenging because sometimes I love a name but hate the letter, as is the...

Oh gosh, girl triplets is like the naming dream for me!
Mine would be:
I'm iffy on the middles, but the first names are pretty definite
