Baby boy is coming home today and needs a name. I prefered Jude but think he "looks" like a Simon now. Here's what we've considered. Other suggestions welcome. I feel like I'm over thinking this.
Lindsay, Britney etc. were all well established names long before the celebs you gave as examples. Was there a Miley before it stuck as a nickname for Destiny Hope? Maybe so. Maybe several. But not...
If you plan on calling him Theo why not name him Theo? I don't understand wanting to use a certain nickname with an unrelated name. Theo isn't short for or anywhere close to Timothy. If you don't...
I love the name Jude but I'm not sure how it would sound with a last name like Young. Would you go with Jude or a longer first name? We also like:
We need to narrow down our list for a baby girl due soon. Older brother is named Henry Augustus. Middle name will be Eloise.
I don't think of it as a name at all, sorry. If you have to use it I'd put it in the middle spot.

It's not unisex. It doesn't sound feminine. It's not sweet for a girl. And if you use a "feminine spelling" it will look ridiculous. Plus, most people will assume your child is a boy. Use it if you...

No, please no. I could list tons of great E names for girls that are GIRL NAMES. I'm sorry, but traditional male names should be left to the boys. But if you really have to use it, please don't spell...
I agree, it's a boys name either way but I prefer Linden unless you like the presidential feel of Lyndon
Sounds more like a childhood nickname if anything. I don't think it would age well and I definitely don't see it on someone in the professional world. Maybe use it as a middle if you really love it?

Sounds snobbish to me. Unless you're a member of a royal family :)

Ok, Milo is the cat people, so you obviously don't have a strong association with that movie. I personally know someone with a cat named Leo, so for me I think cat. Everyone has had pets and for them...

I don't think so, Margo and Stella sound great together and that (and you loving the names) is what should count. I'm always more worried about picking names that are similar, like all modern and...

Love the name, it's definitely one of those "old lady" names that's ready to come back in style. I think I like the nn Pru even more. It should wear well with all ages in my opinion

I'd go with SBO

I have a Henry Augustus so I'm all for August and Henry together, although Henry August sounds better to me. I really like Rhys and August together.
Same here, it'd work for a boy but for a girl...please no.
My first thought too haha
I've never heard of Carrie as a nn for Charlotte either, just Char and Lottie. I think it's a pretty name, go for it!
Unisex names are great but both Dylan and Devin are boys names. Neither really work well with Eve.
How do you feel about Maeby as sister to Henry?
Tell them both that Olivia is far too popular already and they can do better ;)
Just found a Millicent, Agnes and Penelope. Yay, goodies.
Did lots of research thinking I might find some interesting names in our family trees but aside from the usual John and William or Anna and Elizabeth I pretty much only found some strange names. What...
