@nessette your post might have been lengthy but it was definitely worth the read. Thanks for sharing.

There is a reason why I only come to NB for the forums and the super search (though I use it as a name list round up and then research the names on other sites). I also only recommend the forums to...
Yesterday was an auspicious day for the LGBTQ community especially in the United States.
I thought it would be cool to take a moment for us to round up some of the names of our favorite LGBTQ...
Ezra always makes me think of Ksenia. (Huge GP but don't know if I'd every feel brave enough to use it). I kind of like Ksenia Rose with Ezra Samuel....
Otherwise choosing a virtue name could be a...
I have this problem with Mimosa too. I think it sounds darling and fun, but then I remember how many people like drinking them -- I actually just decided on a no alcoholic beverage policy. I guess...

I think Rowena (ro-EE-nə) is a great name. Sort of traditional, but not so out there and thus totally approachable.
Row/Roe/Ro/Rowe seems like a very intuitive nn for Rowena. I think I'd choose the...
I agree with previous posters full heartedly. Regardless of what you decide your new kids name to be, you seem to know you don't want to give that kid someone else's name but one that is...
Sorry for repeats:
I'm guessing Cyrus isn't "K" enough.

Everett and Lochlan are great names!
I like these with them as well:

I prefer Juliette to Cosette. I prefer it in general but also think it's easier for someone who lives in a bilingual world. Maybe it's not a big deal in Canada but my family has the hardest time...

I was born smack in the 80s as was my DH (who is just sitting next to me) and neither of us have every actually meet a Jared in real life. So it doesn't seem dated to me at all.

These are my favorites from your list: (I didn't list them in a particular order, just the order you had them in).
Logan Cordelia - I think I prefer Cordelia Logan but...

You and I could be in the same boat. My DH (as much as he refuses to talk about names until we are TTC or pregnant) like classic, modern names while I prefer something a little more old fashioned and...
I love Lorelei it's one of my personal top choices - and I agree I find nn for this name difficult.
I think I'd go with Lola (not super intuitive but the others don't work for me).
I do agree...
Not really what you were asking but I just read about this and then saw your post and thought it might be interesting.
BENJAMIN isn't really a "earth or sea" name. But the inspiration for the...

Alright this will seem like a tangent but it's not.... I promise....
Hubster and I are looking at buying a house. Every house we look and appear to be slightly interested in our real-estate agent...

3 letter boys names.
Faye Elaine flows a bit better when I say it but I would probably choose Claire Elaine instead. I think Claire and Nora are darling together and Faye Elaine feels a bit too much like you are saying...

I'd rather be a Juliet over an Ellie. I associate Juliet with Juliet Butler from the Artimes Fowl series - while a little ditzy she's one kick-a$$ teen. Honestly though, Ellie feels like a nn to me...
Sorry if you misunderstood. I meant to suggest banning threads that encourage user to list or discuss names they hate such as "What names do you hate most?" Not the actual user.
My thought was...
The only baby Hayden I know is a girl and I guess Hayden Panettiere sort of underlines the feminine qualities of the name (to be fair I should point out that baby Hayden was named after the...
